Because Smash Boards was shut down for almost two days, I'm extending the deadline for sign ups to next Friday. At this point in time, however, the only people who will be allowed to fight early will be those who have their brackets posted. (Which I should have done by Sunday Afternoon)

Can people actually read the rules? Please? FMOI has made it clear that your team may only be one of the ones listed on his first post. Exceptions would ruin the whole goal of the tournament. I apologize if I sound rude... but everything you need to know about character selection is right there in the first post.

Only three more people need to sign up for another bracket to be completed. The more people that fight early the better. Also, Capcom announced today that Megaman 9 will be released this Monday so the timing is just too good for this tournament.

As I said with on the first page, if you can't get past it, it's your fault. It took me awhile to figure out how to beat Olimar with Lucario but I finally figured it out in the last match. Not bad for my second worst character, eh?

Its not gonna be sorted by regions, by signing up you acknowledged that lag may be involved and you may be against someone 3000 miles away. Fmo1 would definetly not wanna sort by region anyways, I know I wouldnt

It wouldn't be all that bad, and the people without locations would get the short end of the stick, and be paired with the others at random, all he would have to do is note general direction, still effort that doesen't need to be done since hes hosting a tournament for no reason out of his own pocket
Also, i'm sure people woul dtry to use that tot heir advantage, and set their location away from well known people, like overswarm etc

Yah random pairings and acepting any lag is the best way. I could just dodge any good players like Naucitos said.
