Yes I agree for BlazBlue, gotta hit u up online for some training, true fact that more smashers may convert to BlazBlue -_-; I don't count cuz I've been playing fighting games for a long time.
If BlazBlue isn't official, I think I should take charge and do a small side tourney

Ok, guys, so we are back on track with hyping this thing. Seriously guys, bring everyone and tell everyone.
WE WANT THIS TO BE HUGE!!!!!!!IM TALKING POSSIBLE 2 DAY TOURNEY WITH POOLS!!!

SF4 is the ONLY offcial other game besides smash atm.
The next most likely game will be halo 3. I'll be getting back to you guys on that one.
As far as blaz blue, extremely unlikely. Thats something one of you will have to bring yourself and just set up on one tv or something, and have friendlies all day. I'll def look into it, if there seems to be a somewhat decent interest. Like 15+ players.
I will be checking up on set-ups real soon, to make sure we have plenty of equipment. which I'm sure we will. We'll probably be doing the same thing as last time, where the 1st preset number of people who bring set-ups will get the door fee knocked out. We'll wait for it to get closer to determine the preset number, and who will get the fee knocked off.
HHmmm, for right now, I think that's it.
Any suggestions for other games? If we go with the 2 day thing, which is very possible and pretty much up to us, Im sure we can plug in some more games. So I'm sure if we can get 15+ players interested in any other game, (and they can supply the gear, that we can accomodate.) Ok, so blazblue is looking more do-able now.
I want to try and have 3-4 tv's solely for friendlies/MM's for the whole day.
during the tournament, There should be NOOOOOO friendlies on tourney tv's unless announced that they are open. we will be really strict with this, but it will ensure that the tourney will finish in a timely fashion, and then we can have hours of nonstop friendlies afterwards.
EDIT:LET ME GET A "+1 FOR BLAZBLUE" IF YOU WOULD ENTER A TOURNAMENT FOR IT IF WE HELD ONE.

we had halo 3 at all the other events so far. But gamewars, who was helping out with setups and equipment, are no longer working with us, so we'll seeing if its even worth it at this point.

I'll tell you right now, after talking with mnitg, we're looking for like a 130-150+ sized tourney.
we are willing to take on that challenge and accomodate everyone. Also, as the first post reads, we will have a BIGGER room than the last FG mayhem tourney.

Lets keep this going. florida gaming is the best in the the state and soon to be in the US. All these other tournaments around florida are watering down the competition. We mite be host a two day event with pool play, pro & am brackets.

MANGO, COME, this venue is like 3 times as big as gigs. It's a conference room, in a nice hotel. if you and shiz come, we can def make it 2 day. It will be huge. we want 150+ peppz in the building WITH JUST SMASH.

why not reuse the old pre-registration form you had on the imwiifit.com site and get people to sign up
or make a google docs form maker to do pre-registrations, that's what i'm doing as of late and it's working kinda effectively in pre-making brackets prior to the tourney
