I would focus much more on Melee but Yoshi doesn't have an Up B Recovery in Melee so.....
Don't get me wrong I love Melee, but the fact that I have to use characters I don't care about to be successful is what gets me.

And yes, I agree with you that hes 100x times more fun in melee. Scratch that, millions time more fun.
Only thing is that Yoshi can't 0 to death *****s. It's Fumi that can 0 to death *****s.

I love tanking rest with DJ in melee. Sure you still get launched just not as far. Same goes for the knee, it just knocks you out of your jump and you don't go anywhere. I miss eggs that did 12 damage though, oh and that godly downsmash

Afro, you're not giving Brawl Yoshi enough credit. I bet you'd change your mind if you played mine (but you apparently quitted Brawl, so...).
By the way, he was at his worst in Melee (top of bottom-tier) and is better in Brawl (middle ofmid-tier low-tier), but they both can't compare to how he was in SSB (bottom of mid-tier). Then again... in SSB everyone was playable.
