I've organized how many chain grab Falco gets on the cast from least to greatest.

W = must walk in order to get max chain grabs possible
D = must dash grab in order to get max chain grabs possible
* = you're chain grabbing Marth and must dash grab for first 4 grabs (you can also walk on the very first grab), then boost grab for last 2.

I thought marth could break out with UpB even if you use boost grabs
But I guess you play mikehaze a lot so I'll take your word for it

How many of these are guaranteed spikes after?

How does percentage and staleness affect this list. Anyone know? I mean, if I grab marth at 16% with a fresh Dthrow, how might this affect the CG ability?

This is a really good list, but it needs more detail, like when you must buffer/walk/run/boost grab at any given point in each chaingrab.

Also what he^ said.

You sure we can't get 4 on Lucario with boost?

Also Olimar is a boost CG for sure. You can't walk or dash CG him, please note that on the list.

but still - basically if you wanna get the spike on any of these characters, just take away 1 grab and replace it with the spike.

it's just obscure

you can CG olimar to ~25 before he can DI and jump out without the boost

When we say boost grab are we referring to boost pivot grab? Or grabbing in the same mannner you would with D3s cg?

I think that's incorrect, I know for a fact that if MK is on 41% after a dthrow you can still spike him, which is after the max number of chaingrabs possible.

I always have trouble with dash and walking grabs on Oli as well. They always get out after like 2 or 3 grabs. It's a very odd chain grab.

Maybe I should start boost grabbing him...

You know how you make an input for the Boost Pivot Grab? Same idea, but without the pivot part. Dash -> c-stick (down) -> grab

I play a top ROB a lot, and can only get 3 grabs before he's able to just jump out, you sure it's 6?
The timing for Rob's walking chaingrab is difficult, you have to be very precise or else you'll after a few.
You sure we can't get 4 on Lucario with boost?

Also Olimar is a boost CG for sure. You can't walk or dash CG him, please note that on the list.
Lucario can footstool you if you try to boost grab.

I'm sure it works, the timing just gets difficult after 3 or 4. I'll test it out with later just make sure.

my peach has never been successfully cg'd by anything but icies and dedede. falcos i play either dont have the timing right or im just pro ;p
also im guessing that dash grab is better on snake cuz of his nade's, may want to include that idk. after all 8 grabs if the grabs are perfect can he not pull one out?

The timing for Peach is pretty strict, if you mistime it Falco gets naired

You can do walking chain grab Snake pretty well, it's not too difficult. I'd try not to dash grab if you don't have to in order to avoid tripping.

This data is very good. Thanks DEHF. I didn't know other characters had a boost grab other then Snake. Will see if Wolf's grab range increases. Also curious if Ganon grab range is bigger LOL.

@Seagull Man every character has a boost grab and boost pivot grab, it's just that most characters aren't noticable or even worse than their regular grab.

@Godismyrock it's because I like seeing Falco win :)

You should never let someone hit you, % is a valuable key to achieving victory. The less % you have, the more likely that it will be your character striking a pose in the victory screen.

lol i know that, but take 15 to be on about 70 is much better than being grabbed and ending at 120

I feel like wario doesnt have it too bad getting close to falco when he's camping to get that grab

Wario is going to air camp you for a grab, whenever Wario jumps near you just roll away. Falco's roll is brokenly quick and long.
