Chibo's list of people makes me laugh because I know Alex and Izumi poop on him daily about his hosting skills and have for a while.

I'd prefer not having Melee at circuit events due to time and space issues.

Why am I not part of the managing team of this circuit yet? Must I get my entire state to just tell you guys that I'm the best TO in it?

EDIT: Rofl at no time for melee, your game takes 7 days to finish. not our fault smash tourny hosts can't run ****.

Just realized Apex was an event for this. I can get my first set of points there as long as not too many OOS come and **** me :urg:

Edit: I'm not a fan of adding Melee to the circuit because I think that they sould be seperate because they are 2 seperate games. Some people just play one while others play the other too.

It's like putting SF4 and SF3 together. Some people can own in SF4 and have over 6000 BP and not even know what characters are in SF3.

I just think it would be better if there were Brawl Singles, Melee Singles, Melee doubles, Brawl doubles but that's just my opinion on it.

thats how its gonna be keitaro there has not been a ecrc event for melee yet til apex after that points will be given and make up for the crap fest that is anmc

Anyways, Here is note:

For months I tried to develop a regional points system that was fair and proportionate based on entrants. It was too convoluted and really didn't make a difference in who was higher on the point chart anyways.

So I went ahead and put the current points together by State based off my memory of where everyone is from, and here is what it looks like:

Singles

1. New Jersey- 203
2. New York- 62
3. Virginia- 40
4. Maryland- 38
5. Canada- 35
6. Texas- 24
7. Michigan- 22
8. Maine- 12
8. Louisiana- 12
10. Pennsylvania- 11
11. Massachusetts- 6
12. Georgia- 4
13. Florida- 3

Doubles

1. New Jersey- 247
2. Virginia- 144
3. Maryland- 101
3. New York- 101

Questions of people

Darc is Maine right?
Lee Martin is Louisiana right?

What do you all think? New Jersey kind of runs the table... but the rest of the states are pretty close.

Obviously this would be a lot of extra work, but if you could divide those point totals by the number of participants from each region, it would be a more accurate reading of which region is overall "better." Right now it's mostly decided by sheer number of people from each region, and Mew2King.

I wanted to do that originally, JCaesar, but the problem was I couldn't identify EVERY entrant at the event. And I needed to do that to figure it out.

That could get abused though, NJ would have like a count of 5 points right now if we did it that way, Canada 3.5, and so on

lets say they only send Ally down to a tourney, no other canadians, he gets 2nd.

35/1 = 35, and all of a sudden canada has a humongous lead
