Guess maybe I'll ask the better question.

How are the newcomers as a whole so far for all of you?

:ultinkling::ultdaisy::ultridley::ultchrom::ultdarksamus:
:ultsimon::ultrichter::ultkrool::ultisabelle::ultken:
:ultincineroar::ultpiranha::ultjoker::ulthero::ultbanjokazooie:
:ult_terry::ultbyleth::ultminmin:ultsteve::ultsephiroth:
Eh?
Inkling, Isabelle, Byleth, and Steve were inevitabilities, so I’m neutral outside of how Byleth should’ve been a Pass 2 Character.

Ridley, K. Rool, and Banjo were great for their fans, even if Banjo should be adjusted movement wise.

Echoes are a neat concept, horrible execution though (outside of Ken, Chrom, and Dr. Mario)

Plant and Sephiroth were Great and Funny Additions to the Roster, even if I would’ve preferred other characters, I still think both are great, and Sephirothis SOOOOOO FUN!

Belmonts, Terry, and Hero were great additions, with the former two coming with a TON of new content making them feel like Special Celebrations. Also I main Hero lol.

Incineroar I initially hated, until Alpharad’s Video on him. I would Main Him if he were Viable.

And then there’s ARMS. I hated ARMS, so I kinda hated Min Min. ARMS’ Gameplay was the reason I hated it, so having that Gameplay in Smash was disappointing personally, but at least we got an additional Waifu in Smash now, Chinese too. Time to eat those ARMS lol.

Add bandana dee, Magalor and 02 and I would agree.
B-but they're first-parties my aunt who doesn't play games doesn't know about! It's illegal to want them in Smash anymore!
“Captain Syrup”
The WHAT
The main antagonist of Wario Land. The first game had a bunch of things named after food, she's a relic of it.

Kirby still doesn't have a villain

neither does Metal Gear, Pikmin, Fire emblem or F-zero or Xenoblade.

Edit: im not counting bosses. and im also not counting new franchises.
Well, sometimes Dedede and Meta Knight are villains, and in a way Robin counts as one too, due to a version of him/her being possessed by a villain.

That feels more like a technicality to call them villains. Sure, they’ve done it a couple times. But 90% of they’re appearances either have them as mentors, antiheros, or straight good guys.
Dedede was only a villain (in the main games) once (or twice if you count the remakes) and I believe Meta knight was a villain Twice, Neither have been villain's since superstar from 1996 (the only other games where they appear as villain's are that remake of kirby's adventure for meta knight and super star ultra for both of them).

the newest Kirby stage is also from 1996

Really the issue with Kirby is that there's no real recurring villain at this point. Many of the prominent figures are one & done, Meta Knight/Dedede are basically friendly antiheroes, and even variations of Dark Matter only happen every so often.

I mean the closest to an arch enemy that Kirby consistently faces in battle over the course of the series is Whispy Woods.

Well, Void Terminas boss fight pretty much cemented that most Kirby final bosses are a variation of the same form of Darkness. Dark matter with some copy cat abilities from other bosses could make for a good representation of Kirby villains.

I'm speaking from 2021, the next fighters are Reimu, Estelle and Velvet
I'm speaking from 2020, the next fighters will be Byleth, Min Min, Steve, and Sephiroth apparently.

I call bull. Don't they remember when people complained about Corrin? Why would a spirit from a dead game become playable? Steve already got BTFO by Banjo. And Sephiroth, please. Square is too stingy and that'd be THREE fighters in one year that don't truly expand the crossover.

I mean...I know the relation between Kirby and Meta Knight/Dedede is more of like, friendly competition rather than actual villainous actions, but I’d still at the very least consider them antiheroes.

In terms of adding more villains, there’s Porky, Black Shadow, Dr. Eggman, a non-clone villain from Kid Icarus, maybe a Xenoblade villain? There are still options available.

What franchises still need a villain (counting bosses)? The only two I can think of are Porky and Robotnik.
Mandatory: Kamek, Eggman
Would be pretty nice: King Boo, Ganon, Vatti, Magalor, Marx, Dark Matter, Porky, Black Knight, Sigma, Dracula
Good addition, questionably villian: Shadow, Frisk, Sans, Octoling, Grovyle

They could also be coming from wutville...
Which is the new map I propose a TF2 rep get in Smash with. (Yes there is a map with this exact name)
Oh god anything but that. I'd rather have Hydro be the TF2 stage. I'd even take cp_orange_x3 or MARIO_KART.

Most kirby villain's are related to or in some way from dark matter, I would say Dark matter is more of a behind the scenes type villain but it's influence is felt in every game.

Kirby's dreamland 2, 3 and 64 all have direct fights

Kirby and the amazing mirror has the mirror form of dark matter
Squeak Squad features a fragment of Dark matter long since sealed away
in Return to dreamland's magolor soul fight the dark matter eye appears in the Master crowns mouth after it completely alters magolors body to resemble a physical embodiment of itself
Triple Deluxe has Sectonia being corrupted by the amazing mirror which houses the mirror world counterpart of dark matter
i don't think dark matter has any presence in robobot besides being something star dream managed to clone to fight meta knight.
and in star allies you have a cult worshipping the origin of Zero and Kirby. not to mention Hyper Zone has a reappearance when you fight morpho knight who is apparently linked to a judgment day of some sort.

Kirby lore is strange.

In regards to a TF2 rep, do you think they could also use tools from TFC? I'm saying this because I would prefer Scout to be the rep rather than Heavy, and I kind of want to make a moveset for him involving not using guns (except his shortstop and its shove would be the jab), and I thought his TFC throwables would work.

Neutral B: Flying Guillotine
Side B: Wrap Assassin
Down B: Caltrops
Up B: Concussion Grenade/Conc Jump

I still think Gravel Pit would be the best choice for a TF2 stage.

Like come on, that central tower and its platforms are practically asking to be a Smash Bros. stage.
Gravel Pit has the superior layout no question

But 2fort is easily more Iconic and it would be a clone of Bridge of Eldin with a ceiling, How could you not love it :4pacman:

Also My idea for a TF2 rep would take notes from Sonic and Sega allstars and the character would be "Team Fortress" and each move is a move from a different class.

Stage hazards include 10 snipers on both sides and sentry nests if you try to go inside the forts.
