There is literally no reason to worry about that unless Intelligent Systems rushes out a new FE just to add its avatar to Smash to make people mad. Which isn't how it works.

I don't think making the right guesses means you're a leaker since, well, it's guesses.

To be completely fair, while I do think League is slept on, I also understand why people hesitate to call it a frontrunner - and I say this as someone who made two LoL threads. I think it has quite a few merits, but it's worth keeping in mind that there's more at play here than just being a big game.

Regarding your Phoenix bit: do you mean that in a competitive way, because of UMvC3? Because let me tell you, going from bottom tier to high tier mid-match is one of the hypest things that can happen when he's at play (and really, it's only because of the RNG bad evidence, and he'd probably be kinda busted in that game if not for said RNG).

that switch up works mid match in UMVC 3 because the power level of the game is so different. people would lose thier minds if a character like dark phoenix or vergil was in this game. i don't think smash caters to that kind of switch as amrvel does both in a gameplay sense and in how the playerbase culture is. also, I think smash players are really over these "second state" characters. sepiroth walks a good line but mac and joker push it way too hard.

But you know what, I think I rather be known as a Prophet in Guessing than a Leaker honestly. One thing I haven't been able to guess is a Single Character

The closet characters I ever guessed were Ken and Sephiroth. Ken was already leaked, I just predicted he'd be the most unique echo in the roster. For Sephiroth I predicted him for FP1 but was wrong, and I still had him as potential candidate for FP2, but I wasn't actively predicting him when he got

So I think it would be nice to guess the next 3 Characters, along with getting Shadow in the game. I'm certain on the next 3 characters though.

I would like to do the same for This Fighter Pass. Most people aren't looking in Shadow's Direction. It's mostly Eggman if talking about Another Sonic Character, or Waluigi for Assist Promotion.

And for Scorpion, the Japan thing has people just throw him out completely, in which while I completely understand why, I don't think it's just that simple and there are signs that WB Games and Nintendo perhaps talked about Smash.

Elma is probably the character of my Predictions that gets the most talk, and that's saying something because besides Rie and a few others, no one brings her up much. Venomisbest did have her as prediction thanks to his analyasis though

9th Fire Emblem character; This franchise has enough characters already. Mario and Pokemon at least makes sense since they're Nintendo's most iconic and popular franchises but this doesn't.
Any assist promotion; Because people who are in denial can't accept the fact their character is deconfirmed and simply can't wait until next game or a port/Ultimate Edition (Let's be honest Smash is too big and popular to not keep continuing).

If I recall, Darkstalkers invented the air dashes for the genre, so it'd be fitting to have her introduce it.

And the way I can see them happen is by replacing air dodges.

Though I have seen some guess Dark Pit was possibly playable, since he did show up in the Trailer overall. Especially after seeing Lucina have her own slot, some guessed he might not be just an alt. In a twist, they were right, things just changed in development near the tail end.

The only thing I found odd about Dark Pit was him having the same model, meaning you couldn't tell him apart easily from Pit in the cases of the Metal Box. In a twist, that one thing that annoyed me was fixed by making the Metal characters no longer a solid color but more of a tint that shows off some of their textures.

I also called Dr. Mario being playable or he's nothing more than a Trophy(and not an alt) as soon as I saw Mario's customs. Megavitamains not being there is what tipped me off. Though honestly, among clones, he's not hard to guess being an easy one to come back. He was already intended for Brawl, so.
