Also yes Heimerdinger, that's my main champion. I started playing him back when he was bad/barely viable lol (Not so far back that he could have 6 turrets, but still). Nowadays he's like auto ban most ranked games. He's certainly counterable on his own, any good Mord in his lane will force him to tower hug unless he has a really strong laning partner, but with the right team setup he gets a bit stupid. He'd be fine if it weren't for Blue Buff really. That buff rids his two weaknesses that counterbalance the character early on (Mana and Cooldowns) and turns him into a monster.
Heimer honestly isn't that hard to play correctly. He's easy to build, easy to farm with, easy to defend and push with, and after awhile you get used to his grenade timing. Besides minor turret placement tips, there's not much else to the character complexity wise.

What you said is just correct. By the way if you manage to do a good AP/Mana Regen/CDReduction build his nukes start to hurt BADLY and you start building turrets as easy as growing beans on cottons.
I've been playing DOTA for like 3 years, I started playing LoL 2 or 3 weeks ago but I feel just right on this, got a lot of experience on ganking/getting rid of ganks and also on teambattles because of DotA. I feel bad we can't deny things on this game which makes farming on the laning phase a lot easier.
Dr. Mundo is a beast on Twisted Treelines. Throwing cleavers all day baby.
