Ok, this is going to be one long-*** post, so bear with me. And yeah, I read Damien's and Ice's post about MM posts and such, but this MM post will be the LAST one; I promise. :) I'll keep record of it elsewhere. Once again, I'll bring my own setup for these MM's. I'll be the guy with the fro waiting or looking for the next player on my list. With Money. =) Anyone else who is not on the list can come up to me anytime during the Phase 5 tournament. I'll make it a point to show up early. It's going to be a long day.... Here we go:

Done.

I'm down for any MM's.
Added you. Never played you before. Can't wait. :)

alsm id like to have a go against you for 5.

dojo, how much would i have to bet for you to take it seriously? ive been told some higher ups still sandbag during mm's.
Sure, it's been a while since I've played a Falco. And I bet they do sandbag; I think it wouldn't be how much you put on the line, but how well you played (Plz don't sandbag against me.) lol

if you come to FS8 i'll MM your link.
I won't be able to due to work schedule. =(

I'm a little offended I wasn't included in the charitable donations section of ALSM's post. Where's my five dollar give away? :)
Sure, I'll add you. ARE YOU SURE IT"S A GIVEAWAY?

Thanks for putting me on there!!! I would like a $2 best of 3 por favor!
Accepted. =) I assume it's Link vs. Ike.

MM Requests:
vs. Gnes (Diddy Kong)
vs. Razor (Snake)
vs. Bored (Ike)

Careful now, don't want to spoil anyone's Holiday week by looking them in the eye and telling them "You got got."

How about going to Ihop? Cause that's what we're doing. Yay for being lazy and having a bf out of town. Traditional Christmas is not necessary. Haha.

On a side note, what does eating tamales place on the things to eat on Xmas tier list?
I'm pretty sure it's top tier... lol
Tamales are arguably top 5 next to (in no particular order) ham, casserolle of some form, families secret homemade pie and wrapped meat + sauce cooresponding to ethnic group of your choice.

Top tier drinks are pretty standard: champagne, hot cocoa, white wine, assorted holiday teas and milk to go with cookies or desserts.

I got a queen size inflatable mattress for christmas. My parents know that I got to tournaments often and that I usually end up sleeping on the hard floor. So they got me a mattress, which I plan on sharing with people who house with me. In order to get sleeping privileges you have to beat everyone else in Duelist who challenge you for a spot on the bed. Maybe that's enough incentive to get people better at awesomest game of all time =D

Yeah, gonna have to agree with Nike. Couches get claimed pretty fast at Nike's (such wonderful couches).

Also props to your parents for getting such an appropriate gift! I wish my parents would actually try to shop for me instead of just giving me money every year.....

whatttttt money is the best present
Money is a copout that shows you never took the time to learn what the receiver is interested in, and plus you can't play with it on Christmas day.

I'd much rather someone just buy me a game I've been hinting at for weeks on end. It's the thought that counts.

You can play with money. Take a Dollar Bill and see how many different shapes you can make out of it. You can also make it into a Paper Football and play with that.

Besides, money is a top tier gift. Do you want your employer to pay you in shoes, clothes, video games, etc? No. Most likely, you would prefer them to give you money for your hard work.

$500 in cash is worth more than a $500 gift.

Simple Dollar General gifts and items you aren't interested in are low tier. They make you question your friend's knowledge of you and your relationship with that person. (This inevitably led to me breaking up with my last girlfriend, who gave me a pocket watch from the gift shop she worked at for Christmas...I hate wearing watches.)

Store gift cards are mid tier. They give you the options of money without the options of the store of your choosing. The person is basically saying I have an idea what you like...but I have no idea what exactly to get you. So, I'll get you a gift card that shows that I know you...just not that well lol.

Money on disposable debit cards and slightly thoughtful gifts are high tier. Disposable debit cards give you the options of going to any place you want to go and buy whatever you want. However, it's a hassle to figure out how much money you have left. This person wants to give you money, but feels that cash is tacky. Also, slightly thoughtful gifts affirm your relationship and give you a few hours of enjoyment.

Money and extremely thoughtful gifts are top tier. Money gives you all the versatility you could imagine. You could save it, spend it, or give it to someone else. Everyone accepts it. Extremely thoughtful gifts not only affirm your relationship but makes it grow. These are the gifts that you keep the entirety of your relationship and possibly longer, depending on the gift. This is the Medakni of gifts.

There you have it lol

so all the money alsm got is going toward serious money matches i persume. instead of alsm going up to the player and asking for hug matches like me and awestin and shlike. hug matches -if you beat your opponent in a set then the winner owes the loser a hug . either way its a win win situation.

Kyle, you realize he put money as top tier, right? While money may not be instantly gratifying on Christmas day like a top tier gift would be, it guarantees that you don't get something you won't like/need. Money = a zero risk gift. I personally think it's the best gift unless I've asked for something in particular... or it's something very well thought out that didn't even occur to me.

Monica you already have a cat... one that even you can't step on.

zero risk, but still zero thought. it's still top tier yes. Butnotice how much more emphasis is on the extremely thoughtful gift. It's like the difference between Snake and Metaknight >.>

I'd rather have a cat ;)
