TvC isn't that bad. It is pretty dumb, though.

Megaman got nerfed.

Pick up my team.

Roll+Souki

Learn Souki's BnBs (you can find them on SRK).
Start with Roll
Back off
Charge the broom
Decide whether you need to throw a water bucket for cover or not
If yes, charge broom again
Once ready, approach with IAD j.C while holding back (for the sweep charge). Abuse the HELL out of it, it's good vs anyone that doesn't have a great upper. If they do, just IAD and block, and lulz will be had.
After landing j.c, I think the combo goes something like:
1b, 1c/3c (whichever one knocks down), 6c, wait until the move has almost ended, then start mashing whatever button makes her sweep repeatedly.
At around 20 hits, you can cancel into super for even more damage. Like, ******** damage for an unburstable 1 stock super. I could be wrong, it's been a LONG time since I played.
When Roll is fragile/you have OMFG METER, switch in Souki.
Combo into knockdown, activate demon super.
**** the living **** out of anyone that can't run away. Chip anyone that can. Pin them down, and laugh as their life evaporates. Enjoy your awesome soundtrack, too.
Switch Roll back in and go back to meter building if she has enough life. If not, her assist isn't too shabby for getting in.

That was my (very) basic gameplan. Pretty much, use Roll if you can't get in, and Souki if they don't give you breathing room. He has ******** damage when you do that rainbow cancel stuff. Even better if you're demon. Own 'n bone.

Oh, and don't try Souki vs Megaman in JP TvC. Sooooo hard to get in. =(

I've never played double dash. I went straight from 64 to the wii stuff. Did I miss anything important, Tim?

DFO online is quite awesome. But I hate SP, I never have enough to get all the skills for that level. sux...

Also I find it funny how I just popped in here and flamed tony while writing my paper for no reason. Yea... I hardly even remember that. I think tony saw through the bluff though ;) even though he did flame me back pretty hard LOL On a side note I think tony has the longest posts evar

And we should definitely have a "best of the 4 corners" tournament, preferably when I'm back in CO so I can represent :D

I'm also am starting to like this X guy too :)

For disrespectin' my 2df skills UL, if I play you in TvC japan style, you will experience the full camping abilities of team megajoe.

Moblin, if you skipped double dash, you missed the best of the mario karts since 64. Character specific items, cool stage designs, and baby park, the most fun of any course. Also, the annoying daisy/waluigi team.

Based on the CO tourney, I wouldn't put Yaz as 1st, lololol.

Kenneth needs to learn how to fight Sonic. It was saaaaaaad times watching Finals. =(

Honestly, I'm not that big a fan of rankings, but if it helps you guys get fired up, then go fo sho. Maybe I'll even enter a tournament or two, just to get mah name on the ranking board for lulz. I guess I could challenge everyone above me, too.

If Yang's gonna be on the list, he should be higher, though. Him and Lawkk are the only people I've lost to on that list in the past year or so, until you get to either #2 or #3. And Yang actually seems to give a lot of players trouble. I can't remember if DTL has beaten me in tournament before.

EDIT 2:

And I feel DTL prolly should be above Meno, since he tends to place higher than him, right? Meno is great with Peach, but he plays Peach, and it bites him at every tournament. Just zone her, and GGs.

Actually, yeah, Yang might wanna pop up a spot or two, since he's been doing fine at more recent tournaments, whereas lunch and lawkk are nowhere to be seeeeeeeen.

I'd really like that - at least I'll keep up.

I feel as if Colorado is doing not that crappily lately. A rankings thing would be fun and maybe give us that extra oomph.

He does and he's beaten me. DTL is third.

Honestly, I think if me and DTL can step it up to Tim levels, and stop running into fully charged Dave-smashes, I think the top four could be somewhat interchangeable.

But like I said: needs oomph.

@Underload

I dunno what happened at Supercon, but those results were wonky as hell for us. Beyond Dave's placing, I dunno if I should take the rest of it seriously.

To be honest all of utah wasn't at the top of their game. X is just a good consistent player. Yaz wasn't doing well, Kenny kept making basic mistakes. X is awesome and all, but Yazuo and Kenny are better.

Only cause you went MK/ZSS on me and MK is one of the like 4 match-ups I even know how to play lulz. And ZSS is trash.

A mixture of no money/rides/time/motivation. Unfortunate this sounds like my excuse for practically everything I do lawlz

I found it funny that I was even put up there let alone above yang lol. Haven't touched the game since Dave left and didn't touch that before SuperCon.

Brackets were poorly done at SuperCon. My bad, I should have handled them myself.

Dook can grab Sonic out of his spindashes. Also, you know he's vulnerable after he makes contact on your shield, right? Yeah, he can cancel into up+b, but it only does like... 3% to you, doesn't have a follow-up, and you're at positional advantage after. Esp on stages like BF. Start punishing spindashes, use grenades to force him to take damage every time he spindashes, and punish them if you block them. I dunno, you might have been playing poorly, but I wanted to pick up Sonic again after that, assuming everyone fights Sonic like you did.

Also, you can abuse your jab a little more when outside of foxtrot range. And by a little, I mean a lot. X doesn't take advantage of how ******** usmash invulnerability is, so I can't really think of much else he can do to punish it.

Seriously, properly spaced, Sonic's usmash beats Wario's bite. Learn to love it, X. Use it for counterhits.

Maybe I only placed at FR cuz people don't know what they're doing vs lower tier chars. Hmm...
