Sooooooo, I finally gave in and tried Wobbles secret technique for chilling while keeping your energy up.

It's working pretty well. I'm in a good mood today, and I haven't even eaten yet!

The top 8 or so players on the AZ PR (only counting active players) are all AT LEAST half-decent. Even outside of AZ's top 4 players, the next 4 or so players are still AT LEAST as good as any of the better players in your state. Even amongst our retired players, they're still significantly better than most of anyone most of the other 4 corner states can throw at us.

Also, I love how you're attempting to argue skill from tournament matches 2 years ago. A tournament 2 months ago is irrelevant, let alone 2 years. People can improve exponentially in a one-month time frame, and often do.

I've seen AZ play, and they were a lot flashier to put it simply (of course this doesn't mean they're better) and to further explain, what I mean by flashy is that they performed 0-deaths what seemed like on a whim. "DI differently!!!" one might say. Well, at that level of play, DIing isn't the only part of the equation. You've got to remember, despite all that DIing you're doing, you're still in hitstun for a certain amount of time, and before you were in hitstun, Rob remembered that the last 3 times he used that move on you, you DI'd towards the stage, towards the stage, and towards the stage. He thinks it's time for your mix-up to occur! Lo' and behold- it does. Read like a book and now you're WAY offstage, trying to recover. But what's this? He doesn't want you to? Well ****, Tough ****ing luck I suppose. -1 stock.

This isn't to say that CO is incapable of such feats, it's just I saw this much, much more often in watching AZ players than when I'd ever take a peek at CO playing against Neil/Steven.

We'll just have to see at the next 4 corners tourney! Whenever that occurs...


Tony, you are a cool person, you do get **** done (Supercon WASN'T an utter and complete disaster because of what you and Nite were doing the whole time, including being in contact with Tim while Mike and I were negotiating the money BS with DFG) and you're probably a pretty good Melee player.

You're just very disrespectful to people if they play Brawl. Which isn't good for one reason- you're hating on the people, not the game itself (not all of the time, but enough of the time for it to actually be a problem).

Anyway, it was because of the whole "sexuality" thing. I give Brawl players ****, but I don't mean much of it. Except for when I say certain players shouldn't be winning, like DAVE

And sometimes, I like Brawl. I normally have to be really baked, buuuuuut ZSS is a lot of fun, and I'd be willing to MM you with her, since I haven't had a proper match vs your Diddy yet. Jiggz don't count.

As for combos, a LOT of CO does SDI nowadays. I can consistently get out of Fox's uthrow uair with Peach if I don't DI the uthrow, and can sometimes SDI out of Falcon's nair shenanigans. That's not saying that Forward/Wobbles/Whoever can't 0-death. The game is constant mix-ups, and whoever reads whoever better normally wins.

Unless it's something dumb like Peach vs anyone with a bad shield. Then you just FC nair, slap, and get a free dsmash.

Pika dittos? I haven't had a chance to play a good pika in them, but since he's like a mini-CF, and CF dittos are tiiiiiiiiight.

Also, I need to see you fight Marios. I dropped Pika 2 years ago because I got sick of that CG BS. Don't get grabbed and all, but Mario seems to have a lot of ways to combo/lead into grab. That+Pika's crappy shield= waaaaaaaaahh.

I guess I should get an NGC controller again. Maybe a working NGC, since my Wii has gone to **** for anything disc-related. I almost want BB:CS to be bad, just so I have a reason to drop it and go full-time back to Melee/Music.

Things I've heard from Brawl players at school:

"Snake is broken, and should be banned."

"Metaknight is not that good"

"Items take skill, 'specially the smash balls"

Everyone mains Ike and uses Wii-motes.

Dash canceling is cheating, along with other assorted techs. I really hope they use SBR rules, otherwise this tourney is going to be just a bunch of randomness.
