Plus, it rather bothered me when you decided NM wasn't worth your time, despite Wobbles being here for a tourney (trust me, he's all the competition you'd need).
As for regionals- everyone in the 4 corners is invited/expected to come to NM's tourney in February. This WILL be an NVGA tourney, but it most certainly won't be run by DFG (or anyone like him). It'll be run by Jason, who's a **** cool(er) guy (than DFG).

if he's on his game. If he plays well, he plays well. If he doesn't, all you need is dsmash>double slap. I've seen it happen, and didn't want to risk spending money on what could have been his bad day. Dun have money to throw around, and all that.
The February tournament actually sounds like it would work really well. Enough time for all the scenes to get their "A" game going again, save up money, pick teams, etc. Also, not having to run the tournament = MAJOR bonus points, for me. Buuuuuuuut if it's during Final Round, I can't come, as a heads-up.
