You have no idea how many times I've wanted to quit MK. I remember when I picked up Pika, I promised myself I was going to use only him.

The fact of the matter is, and I will always say this, (truly) picking up MK is like the feeling of your first beat off and is also just like your first snort of CRACK.

Once you start, you will never seriously stop playing MK. It cannot be done.

There are many examples but overall once you truly pick him up, you will never put him down.

But you'd like me to proceed with a plan to run tourneys at a venue that costs money. And if I ended up getting 0 people, would've cost me $230? This sounds like an amazing idea! People are working on things, but out in the real world there are more pressing matters, like jobs, college(school you PAY for), and bills. So things take time, and investigation. But if you've got the solution, I'd love to hear it.

And that's fair X, I too judge people on a single match played when people were tired, instead of just assuming that abilities were not on display.

If money is that big of an issue for you right now (and it's looking like it is), then maybe tell everybody that getting a "professional" venue may not be an option right now for you, instead of going on an angry gorilla raid. Sheeeeeesh.

You seem to think that being snarky will get everyone to do what you want, and things aligned such that you actually managed to annoy me. Angering me is beyond whatever you could type here.

- More than a couple of people (you, Spencer, Tony, Jamaal for example) have left / put much less focus on Smash in favor of life / other games.
- Not much has changed in the scene since I came into it back in February, save for NVGA providing tournies.

Colorado's too lazy / preoccupied to help their fellow man get better at Brawl. The scene's dying a slow and painful death, which is to me.

My mom will chew me out all day about something until I do it (even if to my own chagrin), so maybe I picked that up from her. I mean really, in what other ways can I help besides suggest the idea of monthlies (which I did), try to give the idea legs (which I'm trying to do, attendance is the problem right now), and come to the finished product and support it (which I plan to do)? You know that I don't have the means to find a venue myself.

Ah crap, another flamefest is going to start. You reply to this, then I'll just leave it at that, I really hate these when these things involve me..

Hell, I like playing CPUs. It saddens me that a lot of you guys quit or aren't interested in this game. Brawl brought me to AllisBrawl, to youtube, to smashboards, to the CO thread, and ultimately to the awesomeness that is you guys. Also, I'll definitely still play Meta in friendlies. He's top 3 fun character for me. (Behind Samus, then Captain Falcon). I just wish it was legal to enter a tournament twice so I could do one for Tink and one for MK. The fact is, my Tink is better then my MK, but MK just has the MUs...I love Tink and I wanna be loyal. He's my high-tier hero. But if you guys really think, I'll go MK and Tink in tournaments...

BTW High score on Bejeweled: Start by getting lucky. Follow it up with some luck. Make sure to constantly be getting lucky.

Really, you need to maintain a combo the entire time. You won't get above 100,000 without a few four-in-a-row things. My all time high score of 200,000 something came from 3 hyper cubes and a combo the entire time.

MAKE SURE to do the bottom cubes first. That way, rows drops down making combo, giving score multipliers. I had a times 5 for the 180,000.

Me and my lesbian (dunno why, but it must be known she's lesbian) always compete over this. She found a bejeweled forum... >_>

I've been playing Melee a good deal lately. I only play Brawl if people ask me to play them/I'm REALLY bored/drunk/whathaveyou.

The scene is dying a slow painful death because Tim and I stopped carrying it (and I don't mean skill-wise). I'm willing to still help you guys. Hell, I told Dave one or two habits of his @ Dylan's gathering. I think I did, anyway.

Talk to your parents, talk to your fellow Brawlers, and actually show up to events. You've been to like... 0 out of the past 3-4 events.

It's no flamefest, just stop being so pessimistic and actually do something about it. Right now, you post on the boards about how terrible things are, and that's it. At least show up to things before you complain.

If me teasing you guys upsets you, just ask me to lay off a little, and I will. Srsly, I just like teasing Brawlers, like I do SC4 players (even though I LOVE the game). If Matt was annoyed with me joking about SC4, I'm pretty sure he'd let me know, and I'd back off. Same goes for Brawl. As much as I tease Meno about playing the wrong game, he's **** good with Peach in Brawl, and has my respect. Same with Dave.

No hard feelings, I know it can be be frustrating being teased constantly. You just have to let the person know it's bugging you, and most any decent person will back off.

Pika dittos? I haven't had a chance to play a good pika in them, but since he's like a mini-CF, and CF dittos are tiiiiiiiiight.

Also, I need to see you fight Marios. I dropped Pika 2 years ago because I got sick of that CG BS. Don't get grabbed and all, but Mario seems to have a lot of ways to combo/lead into grab. That+Pika's crappy shield= waaaaaaaaahh.

I guess I should get an NGC controller again. Maybe a working NGC, since my Wii has gone to **** for anything disc-related. I almost want BB:CS to be bad, just so I have a reason to drop it and go full-time back to Melee/Music.

how come the extra fresh league never has brawl anymore? and the cutthroat will have only tournaments once a month maybe longer! and the anime conventions one usually suck. Nobody shows up for the smashfests so why bother going to those.

I just wish the extra fresh league will include brawl once in awhile to their blazblue tournaments and stuff like that and not leave it completely out!

I posted why on efl after your comment dave, but the short of it is, they only want to have 1 smash, either singles or teams, and when we tried teams, we all bailed except for zerox and over8000.
