did that tournament have a cash payout? if not, then its not eligible for this list. thats usually the problem with convention tournaments.

i used lucario for for one round against jnig in winners finals, which i lost

i used D3 for one round against jnig in winners finals, which i lost.

i also used mk for all 4 games of grand finals against jnig, of which i only won one game.

had I won GFs (which i should have) Id have an mk up there next to my name, but since in overall rounds i went 0-1 with luc, 0-1 with d3 and 1-3 with mk and like 11-3 with sonic, i thought he was the only one worth posting.

If i got this right.... Then any character could be ontop of the list if enough peeps have them as their main. If 100 peeps in a tournament with 101 entrants are using Link as their main and the last one are using MK as his main. Then Link would get more points even though MK won the tourney easily.
Correct me if I'm wrong pls.

yeah thats right. the point distribution goes
1st - 34%
2nd - 24%
3rd - 14%
4th - 14%
5th - 3.5%
5th - 3.5%
7th - 3.5%
7th - 3.5%

So if mk won and all other top 8 spots were link, the MK would get 34% of the total points available for that tournament while link would get 66%

Nah. It's just me doing okay in a mediocre tournament, and X ****** West Coast. Where are the other Sonics?

Besides, this Sonic rise already happened back in-between the months from Tier List v2 and Tier List v3.

I still remember the good 'ol days when Sonic was 5th from the bottom. Good times.

Well what do you know? You did my job for me. <3 DJ.
X is forcing the West Coast players through the Sonic cycle that the other regions have already been through. It's something ordinary.

Now, if he consistently starts nabbing top spots for a bit longer, then we have something different on our hands, because no other Sonic in any other region has been able to do anything like that for an over-extended period of time without dropping to the lower end of top 10s and whatnot (some just fall off the tops completely). It also depends on each individuals vision of "doing good" as Sonic. Consistent Top 10s? Top 8s? When should we consider it extraordinary, and after how many?

Either way, X is giving the WC the ****. It's hilarious.
