It's not about the size it's about the environment and attitude of the people there.
If you had a tournament with 200 people and all of them were salty and miserable, it wouldn't be a great tournament.
Florida (in my opinion) is full of fun and skilled people who can make a good time. Whether there's a lot of people or not. So don't count on it automatically going to suck because it's not as popular as you want.

Trust me man I know what the FL smash community is like, only been playing for 6 years. It just wasn't that hyped, that's the main problem.

I may come, I'll decide tomorrow when I wake up. How many melee players were there today?

If anyone knows the answer to this, usually i'm really good with hacks on the wii... but this is messing me up

If i go into my Character Selection Screen (CSS) everything works, but if i exit the CSS, hover over the "group brawl" section and select brawl, it freezes.
However if you go into CSS, leave set up a controller, you can go back in.
wtf.

So basically, after you initially go into the CSS, you need the wii to load different page (controller, single player, title screen) before going back in or it freezes.

This needs more research. But as long as no ones exiting for no reason, it'll be fine.
If you exit the CSS on my wii, just make sure to go to the title screen before going back in.

Completely underestimated druggedfox's partner in teams and singles and got ***** for it, he's pretty ****.
