Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 ('Terminal' - the 17th for Elite / 18th for non-Elite)

My K/D started around 1.3, and then dropped drastically to about .8, which is where it's at now.

But I quit caring about my K/D around the same time that I decided to try and make good use of the SPAS.

...and when I decided to try and "master" all the different attachments for the Type 95. Which by the way, in case people didn't already know, noob tubes suck in this game.

It's one of the more average assault rifles. 3 shots to the body close range, 5 from long. If you want something that kills fast, then don't go with the SCAR.

i'm running akimbo mp9s with steady aim. hasn't let me down yet.

i'm assuming the machine pistol with the highest rate of fire would be better, but i've only tried mp9 and it's not bad.

It's rare for me to have such a great time playing a game, but I love MW3. It feels like they finally got all the things that made CoD fun and put them all together in one bat**** crazy shooter.

Uh no, unlike in Black Ops, it's split up into 2 different perk slots and this time, you actually have to give up other good perks for stealth.

You should probably stop playing then if you're that mad.

Camping in this game isn't as rewarding as in Black Ops. I mean, with support letting you DIE inbetween kill streaks and all, people don't feel as pressured to not die, so they play more aggressively.
When players play more aggressively, it is always nice to have assassin, but quickdraw is useful as **** because of the fact that it lets you ***** grenades without getting punished, and it lets you win firefights allllllll daaaaaayyy. Blast shield pro makes you a tank. Hardline is basically killstreak heaven. I mean, I get like 10 assists a game. That is 5 extra kills. Overkill is meh, but STILL.

It is pretty much the same for the other perk slot.

I always see a distinct lack of streaks in this game. I'd expect to see at least 1 other EMP a match, but most of the time my teamates fail to get any streaks whatsoever, and I barely ever see the enemy team get anything worthwhile either.

also, back on the ****ing headshot topic, am I playing Counter-Strike, or Call of Duty? I was unaware that people should be rewarded with kills simply because they aimed "close" to you.

There are a few possibilities to eliminate EMP spam.

1) play with a full party of good teammates. Guarantee they'll probably only ever get one.
2) Assassin, obviously.
3) Nerf the headshots. Headshot-go-lucky kids don't really deserve an EMP. Kids who play well do.

Other than those reasons, I actually find EMP to be a completely fair killstreak. I don't have many complaints, unless it's continually refreshed. Which means you/you're team sucks anyway, so just quit.

Bottom line, if they're getting that many EMPs, either you suck or the enemy team is ACTUALLY good. Wow. Look at that. The enemy deserves a point streak. People need to throw a measuring tape around their ego before saying EMP spam is OP. If they have that many, then they deserve it, dude.

Okay, so I switched from the Scar and SUDDENLY the game is more enjoyable.

So I have a few questions:

Is Specialist really ****ing amazing, or does giving up killstreaks really hurt you?
If I'm playing a team based game, does using Specialist make me a *****?
Is the UMP good (I'm pretty sure it has been in previous games...) or am I just imagining things? It's the current gun I'm using.

Giing up my kill streaks for speaicalist was the best thing I ever did with my assault classes. Cuz once you hit 8 kills you become beastly. And since you get to set the perks you can easily abuse certain combinations.

Although Specialist is kind of the lone wolf approach, there are situations where it helps to have a teammate using it. Seananner's latest video outlines it vaguely.

Specialist should be used for defense in all game types except FFA and Kill Confirmed (since there really is no defense in KC). Your teammates play the objective and build their point streak while you hang back, destroy oncoming noobs, and build yourself up to be a defensive powerhouse.

That's the way I see it.

Glad im not the only one that realizes how good the IMS is. They're extremely deadly if you know where to place them. They're pretty much claymores on steroids... and meth. First time I used one I got 4 quick kills with it.

One of the more underrated killstreaks imo.

I don't see anything wrong with people going lone wolf with specialist. You can still play the objective without support pointstreaks in objectives and in tdm all you need to do is bring in kills.

GW is totally ruined. Just a ton of stealth bomber/EMP spam (yes I know about the color blind assist, that doesn't make it any more reasonable).

I run specialist in kill confirmed and if leveling my shotguns. Cause lets face it. Even WITH the changes they made to the SPAS, that thing needs all the help it can get.

I think it depends on the game type. Something like KC it's not going to affect the score too much. Bombers and such won't make a difference when you need to grab tags. Having the perks CAN make a difference in that I can now sprint, be off the radar, not be EMP'd, grab more ammo, etc.

You can make the same arguement for running support in KC.

But specialist is a Lone Wolf player type pokemon. And I've been running that lately. I'm a team player. But there are times when I need to venture off. Hunt. Kill. On my own. Away from the pack. But still help the team.

Since we've been playing a lot of Kill Confirmed lately, it hasn't affected us that much.

Now, if we were playing something else, say, Demolition. You bet Specialist would probably NOT be a good choice for it.

I intend to run Specialist for FFA, KC, TDM (sometimes), DOM (sometimes) and maybe SnD.

Everything else would be Support.

And just now I got a 503 service unavailable thing.

I would have named the clan "Team SWF" personally. Make it a little easier to find, but whatever.

So Rapid Fire/Kick/Steady Aim on super soaker is the single greatest gun ever. I don't even need to aim anymore. I'll get the same range as if I were aiming down my sites it's awesome
