I just updated the list. It's cause Fuelbi keeps on changing his username on SWF.

I'll add you now, Thunder.

Alright thanks. And I just decided to go into stalker mode and find fuel on peoples' XBL friends list so it's all good. :D
Yeah, it's due to the lack of updates that the OP hasn't been updated in a while. I need to update the OP of the Black Ops thread soon as well.

So to continue the discussion of MW2 perks that somehow invaded the Halo thread, so why exactly is scavenger a bad perk? I always found it useful.

I'm assuming cause people would rather use OMA pro. *shrugs*

EDIT:  will probably see this and answer himself.

Scav is pretty much unanimously considered the best perk in a very powerful perk spot. I don't know who told you it was a bad perk.

There is no such thing as a bad Tier 1 Perk.
This is all that needs to be said (except maybe Bling, but I used it quite a bit). Tier 2 has SP as the best, but at least the others have their uses. Tier 3... if you're not using Ninja, there's something wrong with you.

Bling is amazing. Seriously. Bling Pro is about as useless as Stopping Power Pro in most cases, but Akimbo+Extended Mags M9's or G18's is lol.

Scrambler isn't that bad, but Last Stand is hella gay.

Scrambler is a horrible "perk" and you should feel bad if you're using it, but Last Stand is hella gay.
Fixed for you. The pro version isn't even worth getting. I'll still know you're coming when I hear the 'click' sound.

Lol, having a team of 6 all running around with Scrambler is pretty funny, if you haven't tried it. It's like watching chickens with their heads cut off. But yeah, Scrambler Pro sucks balls.

Scrambler is only good with an entire team using it, otherwise it is useless.

How is Bling good? I don't find much use for it outside of Sniper classes.

I use it in SnD after I've used my OMA pro classes to lace the bomb sites with claymores and C4. Silencer + HBS with my SCAR or Holo + Silencer for my M16.

Bling pro isn't that good cause I just use the grip + extended mags for my AA-12. Meh.

It has its uses, it's just hard to justify using it on a standalone assault class or outside of SnD. I think it would be better if the rest of the tier 1 perks were'nt so good.

I normally use Bling in Search, although I don't play it too often.
My favorite Bling class is:
FAMAS w/ RDS+FMJ
G18 w/ Akimbo+Extended Mags
Semtex/Stun x2
Bling
SP
Ninja

It is a bit cookie cutter-ish, but FMJ makes the FAMAS even better, and it's saved me/ gotten me kills on many occasions. It's really not that hard to use Bling, a conservative shot can get you a long way.

Every Bling class I have, you can guarantee that I am using G18 w/ Akimbo+Extended Mags, pure f***ing win.

^ Proof that PS3 players can't aim. ^

I usually never end up using Bling since I'll most likely have few attachments/attachments I don't want to use for a number of weapons I have unlocked so there is no need to use it.

Plus I'd rather have Marathon on so I can run and gun with my Uzi/MP5K <3

I really wish there was a way for us to play cross-platform. I know Leafy and me have 360 versions but I don't know if anyone else does. Too bad I suck with the awesome 360 controller though.
Fixed for you. The 360 controller is perfect for shooters.

I'm more comfortable with the 360 than PS3 controller, it's an overall better controller for shooters imo.

I can't use a PS3 controller to save my life. Whenever I aim to the left with my right thumb, I always hit my left thumb. The sticks are way too close together if you ask me. Also, the sticks have less resistance on the PS3, making it feel especially twitchy. The 360 sticks have a fair amount of resistance, and the controller itself just seems to gives me a more relaxed feel.

I'm playing some random online games in my spare time to hype myself for Black Ops, but it seems that whenever I get online now, I get completely jewed out by certain things. like hiding spots I haven't seen before, or everyone is running the most ******** and unfair perk setup in the game (marathon, lightweight, +any perk 3)...

Could it be that I just haven't played in a while? Usually I go positive, but I'm not right now, :/
Or do you guys think the game evolves? Like back in Christmas, people just hid in corners of Skidrow in that green room and things like that, but now you'll never see anyone doing it. Maybe people just form new tricks every few weeks? q_q

The general community evolves over time too, I've found. One cycle I'd noticed was:

  1. A lot of people used Heartbeat Sensors
  2. Everyone started using Ninja as their tier 3 perk
  3. Heartbeat Sensor Usage declined
  4. People started to use perks other than Ninja for their third slot.
  5. Heartbeat usage has been increasing.

It's a pain in the ***, because I love SitRep too much to switch.

Yeah, as much as I love using Ninja and being silent and all that, sometimes I like using other 3rd tier perks, too, such as steady aim.

Meh I only use heartbeat on search and destroy, I just hate the people in the lobby who start yelling and crying cause you're using a "baby monitor". I mean you should be using ninja on search anyways >_>

A few days ago when I started playing again I swear I saw a few different ppl using M16 w/OMA in FFA. They didn't even have noobtubes, it was straight up M16s for the most part. I couldn't understand why :/

They could have been using it for claymores or something.
