Yeah there's like no in-between in this game. You are either a try-hard or you're bad at the game. If those are the only 2 options I'd rather be a try-hard, I actually like trying my best at a game that I like.

I don't think trolling me will really defend the fact that acting like all of the tryhard elitists will make people think you're good at the game.

Eh, yeah I guess its wrong of me to use everyone's general term of people who play modern warfare, do the same as everyone else, and then get a nuke and think they're amazing.
I know you wish you could be as expansive as banjo, but the fact is that he did contradict himself and you overshadowing that by calling someone bad because they aren't on the leaderboards is downright ignorant.

Oh dear, I do hope you realize that I was trolling with that leaderboard thing. I've played objective games before, I've died multiple times to secure wins in games like Demolition, CTF or Domination, and ANYBODY I play with can confirm this. It's been a long time since I've played for my K/D, I pretty much only play for my W/L now, which can explain why my KD has dropped about 0.30, but my W/L has gone up about 1.80. I'd sit at the bottom of the leaderboard and go 1-1 every game if it meant I won every game.

Also, a contrast between BKP and myself is that I don't give a ****. It's not that I can't be expansive on my arguments, it's the simple fact that I don't have the time to write paragraphs and paragraphs arguing over something so absolutely ludicrous (No offense to BKP, of course). And besides, trolling you is much more fun, even though I'm pretty bad at it.

Oh yeah, I don't think I'm amazing, I know I am.

Well considering you just wrote two paragraphs arguing about it...

And saying you know you're amazing fits into the "Elitist" category.

How long do you think those paragraphs took me to write?

And I assumed most people of average/below average intelligence would have guessed that adding "" to the end of that statement implied that I was kidding. But I guess I shouldn't have assumed that.

I dunno, considering your "intelligence" (if it even deserves to be called that) it would probably take a good few minutes for two simple paragraphs. It's such a pain always having to click "View Post" whenever I have to read it too.

I do complain about it, but if I complain about it, it's because someone is doing exactly what I said is camping. I run into lots of people who will never move from the same spot for an entire game, not even covering an area, just sitting in a corner or one exact spot not moving. I clearly said that covering an area is not camping in any way shape or form, which it isn't, but I can easily tell if someone has not moved an inch from one spot. That's camping, and yes, I complain about that a lot because that's taking it to a whole new level. Today I was in a game where I got killed 5 times in the same spot by the same person, who was there for 4 minutes straight. There's a difference.
.
So when I kill you in the same area several times and you call me a camper, I'll just simply respond by thanking you for being such a nice gentlemen and giving me easy kills for my streak. I don't care if you say I'm bad because I stand behind a wall with a famas, because fact of the matter is, I'm the smarter player. If I keep killing people in the same spot, how is that camping? You keep coming back, be angry at yourself. Not gonna move if I keep getting kills in one spot, that's idiotic.
There seems to be a bit of a contradiction here.

Its not really good to troll people in a serious thread where we're having a serious discussion
bro.
just saying whatever you want and then just taking it back by saying you were kidding if anyone calls you out really isn't a productive effort.

I would hardly call this a serious discussion, it's CoD after all lol. If anything, I would call it a mildly heated debate. I've made about three posts trolling. I'm not taking anything back.

Nobody says you have to read a thing. After all, I wouldn't want you to hurt yourself.

Its not us trolling eachother.
Its him trolling us.
Him making serious statements and then taking his serious statements back and labeling them as trollposts when someone calls him out on them.

When you're consistently bombarded by a wave of sheer stupidity when you enter a thread, what do you expect for me to do? As little as I care what any of you think of me (not at all), I can't be perfect all of the time. However, I'm done with this whole discussion. I don't care about infractions, but I'm not wasting them here. Sorry, F8AL.

Yeah, we're stupid. Its easy to create such a general statement without backing it up. you can't just jump in from the sidelines and say that things people say are stupid. Add to the discussion, provide reasons why people are illogical, etc etc.
That's all f8al is asking.

For me:
SCAR H
Use it like an SMG/AR
Rush like hell
Only go on the defensive once I've got my killstreak going
???????????????????????
PROFIT
lmao.

Oh, I didn't know not being a tryhard made you bad at this game.
lmao

I don't think trolling me will really defend the fact that acting like all of the tryhard elitists will make people think you're good at the game.
rofl

i guess if you want to get a good score and win the game these days, you just get called tryhards by people like you. winning/getting a high score =/= fun to you, amirite.

and it's not like we camp every single game with scavenger/SP/ninja. we (party of 6) all use one gun on TDM, and usually it's bad like f2000 or MG4. but then if we start losing, we pull out our normal classes and then win. that's cause we don't enjoy losing.

cause trying to win is terrible and should never be allowed, right :awesome::c:oneeye::reverse::woman::scared::cool:

lol awesome new smilies

No, no. I'm not one of those people. I love to win. Its just when people act like leaf does, you get defensive. You can't expect me to assume that everyone is trolling.
He made a comment that was serious about how someones opinion meant less because of his position on leader boards because he didn't want to face facts.
thats a tryhard
You can corner camp with scav/sp/ninja all day and I won't call you a camper or a tryhard, but if you act like leaf, I will.

kk fine that comment was dumb, but he already said he was joking, but leafy comes off in this thread as if he cares a lot about mw2 and as an elitist...but he doesn't really

and everything he said is true, relating to mw2

btw, just wondering if anyone here still actually plays a lot of mw2 and competitive smash, both. it's usually like one, or none

Leafy and most the PS3 players in this thread are very very good players. I can vouch for them. That said, Leafy may be messing with you, but you don't need to come back with all the snarky remarks either. Just let it go.

People dont giveit ENOUGH credit? It is the most fanboy attracting game possible.
Its the highest selling 360 game ever.
Everybody who gets it more than likely likes it for a while, up to this point, or they're just bad and they don't like it from the beginning.
I found that people like games that they win at. Nobody is innocent of that, but this game is so self-rewarding that people give it all of its credit based on their impression of how good they are. most people think they're better then they are so therefore it is greatly overrated.

Apparently you haven't read much of this thread, have you? I said people don't give enough credit, because a lot of people complain about the game in this thread. Which is understandable, there are flaws to this game. But I still find it enjoyable.

Clearly me joining in october means I haven't been up to date on this thread. People ragequit all the time when they realise their ego is unearned (which is a completely in vein realization, being forgotten a few hours later).
of course there are flaws in this game, but they are minimal and overshadowed by the positive attributes of the game.
Yahtzee seems to find the bad things about games and exaggerate them to the point where they make everything good about the game seem not to matter.
Thats not the case for MW2, and I agree that credit is deserved, but my whole point is that it gets the credit it deserves generally, while this forum may differ.
