Holy crap, someone who's actually done Lightweight Pro VI? How long did that take you?

Hardline is hella easy. SitRep comes with dedication more than anything else, Hardcore Headquarters is also pretty good for Sitrep.

I've been using Lightweight on my SMG and Uzi class for about a month, and got it a couple days ago.

Hardline I haven't finished yet because I didn't have it on any classes except my riot shield one. I've now replaced Lightweight with Hardline wherever present.

I plan on using SitRep permanently on nearly every class, so I'm not really worried with this one. I only need about 180 more devices before I finish.

I also only have Blast Shield challenges to finish for equipment.

Looooollllll. This game takes SO little skill to play it's unbelievable. For the most part, getting a lot of kills isn't due to your skill, but more your ****ing UMP with stopping power killing everyone in 2 shots.

I've lost all hope for this game and I don't know why I continue to try playing it. It's not even fun when you're screwing around anymore because you walk 2 feet and get spawn killed or just get tubed like crazy.

Also, this game has the most patient people in the world. People hard aim in buildings looking at the exact same spot for entire games. It's the most pathetic thing in the world.....is that really the kind of **** people resort to to get kills? Honest to god it's disgusting.

I swear half the players should just remove the left stick, they don't have any need for it. I can't stand it anymore.

Wow, I completely failed to think of that. Thanks.

Yup, stuff like this made me "quit"

I came back in about a week. @_@ I feel like playing this game in short bursts is the best.

Banjo, you'll be playing again by next week. If not, you're one incredibly strong-willed individual. Thig game is like a drug sometimes, you know it's bad for you, but it's got a hold on you and you can't let go. I've learned to just deal with the BS that happens, because even with the BS, this game is one of the most well-designed and beautiful FPS games ever made. Also, that's probably because we plow through pubs like it's nobody's business, so I don't run into BS as often as others.

Banjo, I read your post and I got the urge to go to your house and slap you, but sadly I live in the middle of the Caribbean so it's impossible for me.

Do you know how soldiers kill in wars in real life? They camp out to avoid dying, and to make sure they take down every enemy that tries to act like a hero and rush in recklessly. Snipers can spend DAYS staring at one spot just for one single kill, SERIOUSLY. And you're complaining because people are patient enough to sit on a spot staring at a door ready to shoot for half the game, in order to avoid dying and to kill the most opponents? You clearly don't see the whole point of it. If you don't like how the SMART players play and want everyone to play recklessly, then the game isn't for you. If you spawn, run forward and die, then guess what: you're not supposed to run somewhere where people will see you running!

You know how I kill people half the time? I set claymores around the place. I get in front of a doorway RIGHT in front of it, then go prone and aim for their feet with a FAMAS/M16. I use a silencer/Cold-Blooded Pro combo so I'm invisible and I can shoot as much as I want without worrying about bunches of opponents coming in at the same time, I shoot them all down, then go camp another doorway. And I usually don't choose the obvious camping spots like buildings with only one exit, because everyone knows the camping spots these days, so I lay down in front of a doorway/in the grass next to a building. Would you really blame me for being careful? I'm camping too, but only because I know people will fall for it and kill me with less frequency than otherwise.

And you know what? In a real war, I'd be even campier. Less injuries and more successful attacks is the best way to go in a warzone, even if it means camping somewhere and shooting all the enemies that get closer. "this is a game, not real life"? Well guess what, it's a war game that different people with different levels of intellect play, and the smartest people play the smartest ways, while the others simply run around and help the opponents win by going straight through an open place/getting melee'd while walking around hallways.

To shame, Banjo, to shame! Now while you eventually grab the controller and turn on the game again, I'll be doing my SpecOps missions on veteran. :lick:

People definitely play this game to simulate real war. That's why we have endless supplies of Noob tubes, people who can be shot in the head 4 times without dying, and people dropping down and killing you after you shot them point blank with a SPAS.

See, but you're corner camping, not playing defensively. Defensively = decent kill counts and low deaths (12-3, maybe), while corner camping = generally low scores and low deaths (3-3). You're not really doing much unless you're getting extremely lucky.

And wow, the enemy got THREE care package AC130s in a SINGLE game on Wasteland. Really now?

So I've dropped the light submachine gun thing and moved on. I now use a M4 with Red Dot and Noobtube (Only ones I unlocked, I just tried it last night before bed) with Akimbo FMJ Model 1887s with Bling, Stopping Power, and Ninja. In a way to make the game more fun, I've made the 1887s my primary by always switching to it for a number of reasons:

1. It's like holding two freaking bolt action rifles in your hands
2. Reliable for the most part
3. You look freaking awesome when you spin the gun around after shotting
4. You look ****ing ridiculous running like Jack Sparrow with your hands up in the air

I said this quite some time ago, but there's nothing wrong with the game. It's truly amazing for what it is, but the community makes it bad. There's so much you can exploit to give yourself an advantage and it you take that out, the game would be so much better.

Isn't it the job of the developer to try and predict what people will exploit(such as noob tubes) and try to make it so it can't be exploited as much(like maybe tone down the power or something like that)? It is partially the community's fault that everything gets abused, but its also the developer's fault because the put so many things in the game that can be abused in the first place. That's my opinion, anyway.

Thank you for actually understanding what the point of my post was. Of course there's problems with the game, that pretty much goes without saying at this point. Just because there are broken elements that the community decides to abuse doesn't mean that the game isn't well designed. As much as I wish those elements in the game were removed completely, I agree with , the community's abuse of those elements is what makes this game bad.

Also, 51-6-2 CTF on Favela. I think I was 47-1 and we were winning like 19-0 before I called in the nuke. Probably my best game in a few months. :D

That is an absolutely horrendous class. I don't even know where to start.

The SPAS-12 is ridiculous overpowered because it can kill you from a football field away. (No joke btw)

It should be put in the "Sniper rifles" category.

lol the godsticks era was pretty lulzy

(aka broken as all hell model 1887 akimbos before patches)
You mean after a second patch. People found out that blinging and putting FMJ (or something like that) on them would revert them back to sniper rifle range.

Yea I know, that's why I said "patches". Also found it funny when I found out the problem wasn't fully fixed and all you had to do was use bling pro to get back your godsticks.

I never really used the model 1887s when they were godly. Were they really that good?

Oh yes, extremely. IIRC you could accurately hit and kill someone at a distance similar to that between the top of Rust and maybe 3/4 down the ramp to the top of Rust (not the pipes, the square ramp thing)

I have better examples but it's harder to describe them :/

Man...after playing for a while, I've realized how spot on my shot is after warming up. Once I've played for about an hour or so, my shot is insane. Reverting back to high sensitivity was a good idea.

I'm thinking about slowly raising it up again, but I donno if I should even do it. The fact of the matter is, my aim with high sensitivity will always be better than people using 10 or something of the sort, especially at long range. However I like making quick jerky movements...hmm.

If you think the SPAS is bad, then you'd think the 1887s were pretty ridiculous. They almost had the range of the SPAS and did 5 less damage per pellet, but you got 2 so you really could not screw up. They really needed to be toned down, but I think it was a bit overkill.

I'd rather have the old model 1887s range instead of the javelin/care package marker glitches. Those made my blood boil.
