Machinima is having a quick scoping contest. I think I'm going to cry after I've heard the rules.
One of the rules is that you can't hard scope. Not only is that the stupidest thing I've ever heard, but I can tell you that it's a pretty flawed rule. How can you distinguish between a quick scope and a hard scope? There is no official amount of time your scope can be up for to call it a quick scope, and you would have to watch everyone's screen like a hawk to make sure they weren't hard scoping anyways.
Seriously, what does quick scoping prove anyways?
It's fun, but it by no means proves anything. The goal, said by the commentator, is to prove who is the best team of snipers, but only for gloating rights.
Personally, I would enter with a .50 cal with marathon and barrel stuff/spray every person I saw.
