Some video references would be sickAnyone wanna tell me what the deal is with silentspectre up smashing so much?
I wasmasturb-watching some of his videos again and I believe even in his more recent he up smashes... a lot. Like I can't even ignore it anymore lol.
Well in the recent ones I'll have to re-watch but here are 3 that I remember right nowSome video references would be sick
From what I can tell, SS could be pretty damn random at times. Having said that, usmash can be a really suprisingly good move I find, it has a deceptively large hitbox and when you get both hits on any fast-faller, they are in deep, deep ****. Also, comboing with side-b or stomp into usmash has always been a thing, not entirely reliable but absolutely devastating when it connects.
Good stuff at Toryuken! You looked really goodIt was a good weekend for the Captain.
thanks for the help. also do you or anyone else have any tips on timing for the gentleman because i can never really do that consistently enoughif you have the button inputs down, work on pressing them faster
you can try dthrow -> knee on CPUs to get a feel for the timing, but it's not substitute for people who will DI and do as many escape options as possible to break out
s2j had a nice method for practicing SHFFL timings. set 3 level 1 CPU Ice climbers on one team and fight them. you will have to mix up your L-cancel timings for 1-6 ice climbers, and mixing up l-cancel timings is key for when you adjust aerial timings or you attack a shield
work on acting as fast you can out of everything
yeah because I don't get that **** at all. might come back here tomorrow complaining about it lol. too tired to do anything right nowYou need to read magus's post on the gentleman to get a better understanding of it's mechanics. I'm feeling too lazy to post it, but I know people have linked it recent in this forum.
luuuuuulGlad to see that gay *** ***gy puff go down though (no offense to m2k)
did I see some auto cancel'e short hop bairs by Hax? it definitely looked like itFor Juggleguy: http://www.twitch.tv/pbnj23/b/408305024
Winner's Finals starts at 8:00-ish. Game Junkie tournament, just found it myself.
don't be intimidated, because from what I can tell, norcal is probably one of the friendliest smash communities in the world (not to say other communities aren't nice, but norcal seems so damn chummy with each other haha)Thanks!
I'm in the group, but I don't have a car right now and I don't really use the bus often, so it's difficult to get to most of them. Especially because I live in the north bay(Petaluma) and most of the smash happens a little further south. Plus, it's a little intimidating because it seems like everyone knows each other and it can be hard to join in the dialogue.
There is an EVO ranbat that I'd like to attend in Oakland tomorrow though. Still finding a way to get there. My friends play with me, but we play exclusively Project M and they aren't into the tourney scene as much.
I switch off depending on situation or comfort. A lot of the times, I use control stick + A to hit a full hop knee when im fighting a floaty (puff/peach) times and they di the dthrow in, in part because I want the slight boost forward from pressing forwardFor captain's aerials or just aerials in general do u guys advocate more for using A+control stick or the c-stick I've been using the c-stick but some of my friends seem to have success with A
http://www.twitch.tv/torontotoptiers/b/405109309Where can I see hax doodying on nerds in toryuken?
