So it looks like Nuketown is coming back, but it's now Nuketown 2025, so in other words it's getting an artistic upgrade.

Also it's a pre-order bonus.

This game's gonna suck.

It'll have lag comp. And Dead Man's Hand.

Yeah.

/steals last post
If lag compensation is in this game I might stop playing CoD :/ Is there any concrete information about if lag compensation will be present?

They really need to either give us private servers, or let the people with good connections play they way they should be able to. It makes me so mad playing MW3, pulling host and doing bad just because of it. My friends get tired of it too because I rage dashboard to see if I had host, and guess what? I always do when I'm doing bad. :/

so treyatch is hiring hastr0 as their "esports adviser" to help shape the competitive gaming community, hopefuly they listen to him too for whatever he has to say about just the game in general

Why is Swarm the Highest Killstreak? The reason why Dogs are so good is because they help flush people out of buildings, easy pickings for your lower killstreaks.

from what I understand

There are two types of matchmaking in blops2

One is what we have and have always had where you just randomly (lol yeah right) get matched up with other people and you can just pubstomp however you please

Another one is like halo's matchmaking in that it involves true skill ratings. The matchmaking matches you up against people your own rank, and the more you win in this lobby the higher your rank goes up, same with when you lose your rank goes down. The logos above represents rank, so whatever rank you're currently at your logo changes with it. The very bottom one is for the people that are the top 2% of allll the people that are playing/have ever played blops2. I think itd be pretty sweet to have it.

Well, well, Buttercup...

Looks like I will still suck at this game. :awesome:

But I'm glad to see that they're doing a "TrueSkill" MatchMaking system.

"TrueSkill" will ban parties obviously, how well your teammate can use a grenade launcher and flash them and generally be a distraction whilst you shoot them easy isn't a reflection of how good you are, so chances are it wont be played much because who plays CoD without friends.

We can get it. Let's do it then rank protect and never play again trollololol.

Too bad it'll be hard to get a full party together.

No, they never said that. You're listening to someone who has no idea what they're talking about.
Pretty sure it's gonna happen, otherwise it wont be a reflection of "true skill".

I spam concussions and grenade launchers like crazy, and I run Flak Jacket and Tac Mask so people can't do it back to me. I really wont mind running into a room or spamming explosives if it helps my teammates, so if I play with one of my mates I could boost his "true skill" dramatically, even more due to the fact that I'm communicating with him.

I would of course sacrifice mine for this, not that I would care, those sort of things don't bother me in games. If Treyarch has any sort of hindsight they'll have banned parties in those sort of matches, otherwise the "true skill" number will become meaningless to everyone due to easy exploitation tactics.

Yes because full party vs full party totally wouldn't make sense
