Best Of Smash 13 : Reborn !!!
Please Note: - I copied/pasted this entire, title/thread you name it.. except for this part that im typing right now.....I'm not exactly certain, how/why, this video(s) doesn't have many views.. (Perhaps nobody saw it, or something) I searched it here in the combo Video section, and I couldn't find it, and there are indeed Combo related material in here...there's a little bit of everything in here actually!
I'm uncertain if I'm being biased towards this video...but this is EXCELLENT, no SPLENDID...Top Notch, top quality material...and work.. This video reminds me, of WHY we're all here...This game really has had an impact, on each and EVERY one of our lives, in the smallest or biggest of ways, in some kind of matter This video, shows what we've all done, accomplished with the game, and the compelling/competetive nature of why we keep playing it to this day?...Wouldn't you all agree? And yet, each and every day seems more things kept being discovered.. ^^
Even when Super Smash Brothers Brawl came out (no offense Brawl players) but ssbm as we knew it, faded away.. (even though, Brawl/Melee players alike agree to an extent that Melee is the superior game) Like most major, sponsors/companies, because like most sponsors, they only represent, the newest/most popular set of games....in theory it's all business...Luckily, some larger companies, are being shown in the melee scene again such as VGBootCamp, and 2GoodGaming..(and any others there might be that I may not know of or missed)
This Video is somewhat like Metagame, however, some characters are NOT included..(mostly bottom Tier/low tier) but few are shown at top level play) some great players are not shown, but this entire video/representation as a whole...is like watching a T.V. commercial for smash...I honestly feel like if I showed this video to perhaps a Brawl player, it's nearly convincing to bring them to melee!..Maybe even a "retired" melee player, could watch this, and be like "****, that was me back in the day, and convince them to come back into the melee scenario..like many of us have as it is ^^;
(The very beginning even showcases a timeline of the history of historic events related to ssbm that occured, such as "Ken's era, DBR, major tournaments, PC/M2k's Era and even current era i.e."Mango") The entire video is divided into areas...such as 1-player mode world records, to "miniature techskill showcasing, by players such as Lovage, SilentWolf, and many of the technical players out there" Showcasing of HRC WR's, BTT WR's, event mode records..and of course vs mode ^^; and many more....Many of you may think, that this doesn't seem interesting, but I assure you, it's very good work...I hope you all watch this, if you haven't already..
I'm not exactly sure how/why, but this video, gives you that "fuzzy feeling" Im not sure if it's just me or not...but it has an impact on you, just remembering, all the events/memories each of us went through.. it's like your watching the "Journey/History/Future of Super Smash Brothers Melee as we know it....because ironically, this same thing is the reason some of us (Leave/retire)... and/or.. (Return/Keep us Motivated) to (keep/quit) playing.. {and of course life Johns, but you should understand what im trying to say} <3
Anyway, I really hope those of you who haven't seen it, please give it a watch...In my entire time playing, (only since 06) =/ but still... I honestly believe...this is...if not my Favorite Video.. that ever represented SSBM as a whole...and hopefully some of you will feel the same way.. ^^ (Wow I wrote alot, sorry but I really hope this gets credited to whomever did this) Gorn? Samplay3? IMO it's a masterpiece.. =) Well that's all I had to say..Again I hope everyone takes the time to watch all 5 parts of this ^^;;
