Carter is a legend the ontario scene. He's better known for his Samus than his Pikachu, but his Chu is beast and is definitely as tourney viable as any MK main in our scene.

@ Krewman this Stroumbert person who i've never heard of. Sword is saying he's better than Minus, Fool, or any other falco in Canada.

I don't think I've been on the boards for a solid month. I'll say that I've taken a few names, but nothing in terms of sets. In my "prime," which wasn't very high in comparison to others, I guess I made people sweat. I guess. If I was still playing, I would argue for best Toon Link.

Alphicans for best Falco. He both beat Minus in tournament matches AND placed higher than him (2nd place vs 3rd place) at Apoc.

Also, he's the only one from around here who's taken a set off Superboom before (and that's saying a lot considering Superboom is the best player here and he wrecks everybody). Not even Minus could do that.

If minus can testify this then il be ok with that. Im not too blind to see that EC canada arent the only one good .

I'm too lazy to find them, but basically, Alphicans has placed 2nd and 3rd in every tournament in WC this year that I can think of, and lately he has consistently placed 2nd.

dittos are not a good way to decide who is better at a certain character (@ anyone who thinks so), and falco dittos are especially silly -_- kosk beat me fairly regularly when we were doing PT dittos at ADAT2. and one tournament result is hardly enough to draw any conclusions.

Regardless... Minus barely last to Superboom at Apoc. How badly did Superboom beat Alphicans, though? :S

It was one tournament... <_<;

Also, these WC tourneys don't have people coming from outside Edmonton, don't they?

Alphicans is beating the same people every time, which isn't surprising.

In all honesty, the skill gap in Edmonton is lulzy.

Pretty badly, but 1 bad match-up on me and 1 bad match-up on him. Kind of cancels out imo.

Anyways this is stupid, I don't just play falco anyways, I use characters depending on match-up, although falco is my most experienced character, my GaW sometimes does a lot better in certain scenarios (not vs falco though). This is also stupid because EC doesn't actually know how good or bad we are over here. We're gonna hold a fairly large tourney in a few months with a 500 base pot, maybe we can settle all of this there?

Pierre that's not true. We have some pretty legit players. All the people on our PR are pretty good, and some of them are underrated.

lol...then you can pretty much say that WC, and pretty much all of BC, AB, and SK, have 4 skilled brawlers, cause they all live here. >_>

Technically, Dan lives in Fort Sask but he comes down to Edmonton like every week or something and he plays in all the tourneys here, so.

Edit: Yeah I agree with Luke actually, I think you are underestimating some of the players here, but then again, they are all still in Edmonton too (with the exception of Jake, who moved to BC?).

lol arenal is new and probably shouldn't even be on the PR, tbh. but we do have some good players, including superboom, alphicans, killl0ck, t-block, firefly (before he moved to BC), dtp, frio, etc. I'm not too familiar with the very top canadian brawl players, but I wouldn't be surprised if superboom was considered one of the top 3 snakes in canada (including ally, though ally is obviously #1) and if killl0ck was one of the top 5 or top 10 marths.

until this happens the EC vs WC thing isn't going anywhere

imo if there's dispute, we be more lenient in allowing OR's for now. then whenever we all get together we can settle the EC OR WC chars. i think it'd be pretty hype
