Out of curiosity, what would be the theoretical best date for a national Brawl tournament?

I'd say the summer tbh. We have to take a lot of factors into account since we're in canada.

So pretty much one of the 3 months when we don't have snow.

I think it'd be a good idea to host it in July or August. June is out of the question for me, since I don't get off school until the end of June. I know this isn't for the case for everywhere in Canada, but I know Saskatchewan isn't alone.

Whichever doesn't have the major summer tournament.

No, we don't get snow every other 9 months.

We get snow 9 of the 12 months.

For most of Canada, that's an exaggeration, though.

I assume in May, Saskatchewan gets snow... every other day? How does the prairies grow wheat there?

But that's not bad compared to Nunavut, I remember my teacher telling me he had a friend their that teaches, it's dark for 6 months and bright for the other 6 months. Good thing is you about twice the pay there compared to the GTA here ^.^

Also, anyone in Alberta besides Jack, Dan and Luke would get smoked in an EC tournament. And they still wouldn't get top 3.

Don't know why, but that "we get snow 9/12 months" thing made me laugh, even though I think it's only true for 5-6 months, but who cares? Hell, book the tournament on a Christmas holidays, at wherever there's the most snow. Showdown in Snowtown, baby.

I haven't played any EC players, but based off of my experience against Minus offline and Doc online, I'd have to agree.

It's snowing right now in Sask, and it usually snows in May.
I would say you only have 4 guaranteed months of no snow here.

Edit: And I've gone to two tournaments in Edmonton and two in Ontario (playing the majority of current PR members in both regions). I have a good idea of the skill gap between the two areas.

In red deer, it snowed in ****ing june. Also, a few years back, we had our first snow day
in the history of my high school.

Anyway, I know this is too early to be deciding this, but what would be a good city to hold the tournament in?

I most probably can't go if it isn't in Edmonton or Saskatoon.

Last time I checked, Distructo beat Pho for some "best Ontario TL" title, back in Almost as Cool as Genesis.

Don't know how serious it was, but just putting it out there. Pho still ***** though.

It WAS air conditioned. It was just really, REALLY hot outside. Like, those two days were the hottest days of the summer. >_>

I don't think you (or anybody there, for that matter) noticed cause we were all stuck in a gym playing videogames. =P But yeah, ADAT1 was fine. It's basically all up to the weather. But I'll see what I can do for the future.

I'm going where now? I'm definitely out of practice. Correct me if I'm wrong, but BISB2 is around the corner, and I would like to, but I got mid terms and what-not, so I would go with 0 practice. And I would go just to get the tournament gitters out of me; say hey to everyone, see where I stack, etc.
