GG's to everyone, first time playing in tournament and ofc I went terribly but no one gave me **** for losing like all my matches, ill have to come to more meets and improve my melee game.
Good meeting you, shame we couldn't play a bit more but hope you keep coming and we will rectify that!

Melee doubles was won by S.D and Smoking Puppy (I think we were called the Boston Marathon memorial team or some ****) with Dekar and Redact in second and I think joey and toshi in third.

Tak, Bus and Redact didn't show for melee bracket, which was disappointing, but Bus finished equal with spup without even coming XD

Dekar - handed my **** to me in winners, your legions of fans prob switched off after that satisfied you were on track for 3-0 GF win.

It was good to see a lot of new faces - if you are lurking these boards please sign up and join in the community full time to get ready for shadowloo showdown in October which will eclipse BAM.

Shout!outs

Jei/Atilla for hosting/running this awesome tournament.
Jamwa: I am still catching onto the Lucas match-up, but u a different breed. + Maccas' fatful goodness
Dean: As I said, your defense imo is top tier. Power shields all day.
Nikes: Glad you could make it out. Was cool meeting and playing you in person (off lagfi). Your yoshi's still got it man. Nikes4king of dinosaurs (t-rex)?
B@mans: Our pools was too close. Should not have allowed you to comeback from that far behind (shows how clutch u r). First time I played a TL and didn't know how to handle that Z-air. But very enjoyable playing u.
Tibs: Your reflexes and fast adaption is OP. This goes for Atilla as well, and in GFs I witnessed a frenzy of aggression and just how fast you both were. Still saddens me, that my momentum was drained out of me when I SD'd both games against you :(
Timic: It seemed you really adapted since the friendlies we had earlier in the day. Our games were very close, though I regret walking into that f-smash :/. I will forever be haunted by your f-smash.
Nido: Lots of fun friendlies. Your ness is fast and agile, though I think I'm catching on. 2 bad I couldnt fight u head to head in bracket, but now there's something to look forward to.
Dekar: You shut me down game 1. I destroyed you game 2 with items. Then again you shut me down game 3. Your punishing of my occasional rolls were exceptional and consisent (as expected from a melee player I should say), and you hit me for anything I did, couldn't do much that day but hoping to find your gaps in future times.
Mozart: Good junk food is good. Sorry I couldnt play you on Saturday. We'll play next time 4 sure.
Viva: I don't know why but I didn't play optimally against you. Your Mario is a mystery to me.
ShuVL, Wayne, Silhouette: Although you guys were the victims of me, u should not be discouraged to play. In time, you guys will get better.

Shoutouts to Gary for realising MK is inferior and that Olimar dittos are the true essence of life.
Tibor for being too much of a beast for anyone to handle
Attila for infinite kindness and running the event and conducting business. Also for being a Schnitz lover and therefore a true connoisseur of food.

Mason "Guy" Spangler - Good stuff coming down to BAM it was great to see you again and you're actually good at the games now. Like actually. I could not guarantee a win against you in a set, when your IC's grabs are in check I cannot compete without GnW platform camping and timeouts <3 Please practice that because I don't care what Attila says, no IC's main should stuff up their art, no matter the hype. Also your Jigglypuff is just too strong, and has surpassed mine, so I can forget how to play Jigglypuff now that I know someone else out there is "doinitrite". Congratulations in Melee, the competition was filtered more thinly due to the absence of some people but the fact that you placed 5th should serve as assurance you can compete to place top 3 at these events at some point. You didn't play better than you thought you could or do anything exceptional by your standards but now you should know you can do well more than ever. Also you should really fix your mindset and not just forfeit a major because you are ****ing up and not enjoying it. You are competitive, you play to win, and overall you have fun but when you aren't having fun you bloody well man up and stick it out, and assess the issue as best as you can and try to place high. The fact that you got down in the first place is no good man! Anyway, great times all weekend and I really enjoyed housing you and Allens, you guys made the tournament very memorable for me.

Allens - Again, great decision to come to Melbourne in my opinion, there was very good NEXT LEVEL conversation going on all the time and in terms of Brawl I hope you may have reignited the fire to improve exceptionally, realising that you had platued and need to get to work. Also big props for offering to cook and being cool with any last minute decisions that were made like going to Bus's and all that. I think Metaknight is a really interesting and balls to the wall decision from you. You want to switch from DK and you don't just **** around and pick Marth or Wario or some bull****. Straight to MK. And I definitely think that you can be the best MK in Australia, so I think your choice is very reasonable if you put in the time. Unfortunate that we played each other first round in singles but it felt like a great set, so much so that I almost regret that halberd spike for being too beneficial and decisive. And I feel your pain on matchups. Jei is a real jerk for using Pit, we have to learn how to play against that **** and the knowledge won't be useful against any one else except his stupid character that he plays. The whole weekend was great though, and Dragon Mode aside, it was a pleasure to host you guys and as Mason said, our ramblings made the tournament one of the best before it even began.

Joey - Nice work in Melee honestly. You ploughed through losers and really took Luigi all the way. Good stuff, should have done WAY more commentary though.

Dean - I think our set was great. You are too ready (you can never be too ready) to gimp olimar with DDD and also I can hardly outspace your Ftilts and other stuff. I want to be able to use Olimar against you but I knew I had to pick GnW for the fat penguin. And it was clutch. I didn't feel I ever had any game secured, I was just in control / in the lead, and I just did the only thing I ever did well with GnW and spaced my heart out. That was probably my favourite set of the tournament... which is kind of dissapointing because it was the only set I won with GnW instead of Olimar... <_< Well played and thanks for actually talking to me for once.

Sebby - oGM that doubles set was so bull**** we lost so hard lol. At least we can always guarantee second? ARGH. Bad luck getting ***** on the big projector thing, your life is over now yeah? Get yo' year 12 in check and lets play some more dota2 and chill out more you studious *******

Viva - Marth is really hard. In my opinion. Like really really hard. I'd be very keen to see you stick with him and be able to beat our good Metaknights one day. You have to be totally on point and I personally can't do it. Stick with Marth though, you don't need a secondary. Marth is a character who can win tournaments by himself, and I think you have the ability :) I'm kind of glad I dodged you in bracket though. I would have lost.

Jei - Everyone just hates your Pit now. It is a traumatising experience losing to one in tournament. Hope you had a great weekend and it was a good time getting schnitz together and just chatting to you often across the weekend. Good stuff as always mate!

Btmns - You are really good. Out of everyone, apart from Mason's Jigglypuff (which is still kind of awful because it is Jigglypuff) you surprised me the most with your ability. You're also the first person EVER to have synergy with Gary in doubles which is hilarious. Me and Seb really needed those two sets to beat Tibs and Attila too! >: ( Thanks for taking the time to play me with Toon Link at the very end of the event, I know you would use someone else like Marth and perhaps win quite convincingly but I just wanted that experience with your main. I really look forward to seeing you again at Shadowloo and hopefully spend much more time with you. Cheers for adding some professionalism to the commentary also :)

Jamwa - Good work beating Viva (iirc) and taking a game off Attila. I'm very glad that you are happy with your performance and the weekend overall. I am sorry that your mum did explosion on Sunday night though D: But we got Nando's together and made the best thing to hold in the history of things that can be held and it was a visceral experience. Play Dota with me tonight. School is easy I promise dw you'll be fine

Thomas - You are defs a bad influence on me in Western Music. Actually no, I just failed an assignment coz I didn't read stuff on the unit guide and that meant I had to do pretty much perfect on everything else to pass QQ :'( V_V ... I hope you are happy with how you did, Major's are damn hard. According to Allens the games were quite close and he's sort of a big deal you know? SO I hope you were happy with that set and moreso, I hope you learned somethings from this tournament :)

Skeletom - Hey man nice work in Melee. You really had to haul ass in loser bracket and that shows some good consistency. Good to see you are regularly coming to these events and have made the effort to surpass the other Melee Casuals like myself and start competing with Phil and the other top echelon players.

xBaHoo - You are a mad snake, Jake. You beat Redact by sleeping, that's pretty ****ing talented mate. Good **** housing everyone saturday night and being funny. When you, Tim and I get into a conversation it's really different to anything else I've experienced in this world. I still have your jumper btw it's a sick jumper. I'll come round for some Melee and Starcraft and hella' good times and give it back. Skype ya soon bb xoxo

Dekar - I would have liked to see you beat SD. His tech skill is amazing and totally deserving of victory, and he seems to make less mistakes than you. But when you extend way offstage to get the kill and do all those crazy aerial Marth manoeuvres, I start to froth at the mouth. I am really glad that you are still playing quite on point in Melee despite your Dota Lifestyle. I hope you stay good and don't ever forget how to be a champion at Melee.

SD. - Congratulations on your victory in Melee. I see what people mean about how you just **** them in friendlies but don't actually disrespect them. I played 2 or 3 sets with you this weekend and even though I had no chance of winning in any game I got opportunities to do some things and learn what I can do better, and I had fun because it wasn't like you were just using some low tier and walking over me but actually exercising your Falco. Your tech is too high above me to learn any of the things that you do, though, haha

Redact - big man but no games

Tak - Glad you came to Bus's it was pretty fun time. Christ, Zeus is bad. Holy balls... Anyway grats in Melee pools I hope you had fun ****** ****. I would have actually liked to play against you in Melee singles instead of your forfeit. I request a best of 3 next time we meet.

Robsta - Thankyou for taking the time out of your incredible life to bestow upon us all an opportunity to coexist with your presence.

Cal - You're a very down to earth guy. All the Melee practice from Wednesday didn't really come in handy though as I was completely unable to play properly in the actual tournament. I played really on point in pools though so maybe it did come through but only on Saturday... anyway I am quite glad you came over and I could give you somewhere free to stay for a few days. It was quite chilled and it seems like you slept well through my guitar playing. I heard you hit the town on Saturday or Sunday night... nice man hope you had a great night and got da' hunnies.

Nicks - You played really on point in crews, which was quite important. Btmns is a great player. I hope you don't regret your decision to study instead of Singles and hope you still plan to enter singles... you can do very well if you try dude. I'm surprised you don't place higher actually. We'll team in doubles for next month at least, probably more than that. Hopefully forever... Sebby is such a stupid kid...
_________________________
Olimar turned out great. Didn't even learn any tech with his UpB and still managed to not get gimped 3 times every game.
Great tournament, great organisation and great people in charge, great prizes sometimes too although that's a coincidence.
I don't think anyone knew I was a massive Darkstalkers fan. I'd like to also point out that I did ****ing amazing in my first set against Ledge.
Also if anyone thought I sounded like I sucked too many ***** I actually just lost my voice from yelling too much BEFORE THE TOURNAMENT EVEN STARTED ... And also

I received heaps of praise at this tournament, and I'm quite thankful for that. Everyone was very nice to me across the board and I am quite thankful for their kindness. Our community is quite amazing which I think we always knew but I really felt motivated by everyone at this tournament and never made to feel bad about anything, even when I singlehandedly lost Melee doubles........
When I lost to Tibs in Losers Finals, the cheering and clapping from the small crowd behind was just, incredibly heartwarming.
A praise of Tibs speed and skill and to me it also sent the message of "you did good man, good work" even though I lost.
There's not really anything to be ashamed of losing to Tibs.

Thanks heaps to everyone who was there. I don't have shoutouts for anyone else just because the conversation and influence on me was very brief, but I respect everybody at the tournament and I like all of them. Special shoutout to all of the new guys as well, good work for giving both games a go, being pretty good at Melee (I played 3 'newcomers' in pools) and for all being knowledgeable that you still have much to learn but still having a great time and aspiring to get better. You all seemed very nice people in general, too.

First tournament I've done shoutouts for in a long time because it was the first really memorable tournament for me since Mango came down. Shadowloo has a lot to live up to, and I wish everyone the best for the rest of the year. See you all again soon :)

Yoshi most of the Melee and Brawl finals will be uploaded to S.D's YouTube channel (PKClauSD). I have replays of my matches vs. Sebby Toshi and Jamwa so I'm uploading those at my channel (Dean7599). I also have Brawl crews.

Shoutouts... tomorrow maybe.

Thanks for a great tournament everyone, it was heaps of fun. GGs all round, but particularly to Skeletom and Joey. You guys were basically all I played in tournament, haha. I'm not complaining though, they were fun sets and you're both really nice dudes. I'll make sure I won't go down so easy next time.

Shoutouts to S.D for carrying me in teams. You are pretty good at this game. Thanks for making it super easy to get a decent photo for my assignment.

mannn when you're not right on your game in melee you really don't stand a chance
compare that melee results screen to brawl's 300% each last stock every match finals
such different games

reminds me of a set years ago of jaz vs cao, bo3
jaz won the first game quite easily
started strong in the second, before cao took it
then cao easily won the 3rd
a few key moments in the 2nd game and you could see that was the whole set over right there

So I don't have an awful lot of time but who cares, i'll put in the time for this:

So, thanks guys for all this. My first Major and I can't quite describe how happy I am with just about everything. Placements, people, games, I can't help but bubble with enthusiasm when I try to sum up what these past few days have meant to me as a smash player and as a person. You're all fantastic people and I can't thank you enough for putting up with my teuretty stuff the whole few days. The community was so welcoming and you guys were all so complimenting and everything! I can't believe I actually made it into pro bracket - it's a gigantic deal for me and i've really been inspired to practice and pester the store near me for a job so I can come to SS later in the year because I totally want to come back. My brother and I can't stop talking about all the fun times we had here and this tournament really rekindled my brother's enjoyment in smash, despite his placement... so I really can't thank you all for that enough. But anyway! I have some personal shout-outs I should get onto here before I go head over heels in all the things I wanna say in general as to how great this all was and so on! So without further ado...

Attila - You're such a nice guy, I don't even know how you put up with our constant friendlies on Friday! :p I'm so bad, I won what, like, 3 games out of the 40 or 50 we played? You're so skilled! Totally worthy of being called one of Australia's best and I can't thank you enough for the time you took to help me out, whether it was through playing friendlies or clarifying something about the bracket or even letting me commentate with Batmans (oh my goodness that was SO much fun)!! All that said, i'm glad that I rarely got three stocked. I know it was only friendlies and pools but it's speaking volumes to me that i'm slowly but surely getting better and that maybe one day i'll actually be somewhat of a challenge! Thanks for all your time and thanks for being a buddy whenever you were able! :D

ViVa - That Mario of yours is so very skilled and seeing you smile whenever I was happy that I did something new or interesting made me even happier. You're a really cool guy and that's not generic at all - you were constantly helpful and ready to give advice and information whenever you could. I felt sorry for you facing Ledge, I know how horrid that match-up is for Mario but looking back on it, I respect you so much for deciding to use him even knowing that (don't worry Ledge i've got your shoutout later :D). In any case, i'm surprised at our 1-1 in pools, surprised at how close our matches were in general and surprised I wasn't able to play you more. You'll be a fantastic player and your fundamentals are already above and beyond (you make Mario look like his recovery's a non-issue!) so I seriously can't wait to see you again when I do manage to scrape together the money to come down to Melbourne again!

Ledge - I've had this shoutout in mind for quite a while. I'll be absolutely honest, I was so intimidated by what i'd seen and heard of you before our matches that I actually went up to Splice and told him I hoped he'd lose because I felt I could probably deal with him easier in losers than I could with you. What this resulted in is something I actually seriously regret looking back, which is that we didn't really meet and play each other that much early on in the tournament. My goodness you're such an awesome guy!! Like when we played in bracket, you apologized to me after the first game for being so aggressive (I'm sure you and Splice often have really close matches) in your play and I felt really moved. Then later you were enthusiastically and freely discussing the meta game and the tier list with me and you were happy to play all those friendlies with me afterwards. Then when Allens and Sebby came to play you had no qualms teaming up with me (team 'Got Carried By Ledge' ftw!! :p) to keep playing. You helped me out with advice during our games (gonna try that Ness Nair to beat Mach Tornado in future! :D) and you were always nice about it and easy going about it all. I really can't tell you how much I respect you as both a player and a person and I am so looking forward to seeing you again when I next come down (actually more Melbourne peeps need to come up to Sydney sometimes... ;_; ). :D

Gosh this took so long - it's wayyyy past time I need to sleep. There's way more shoutouts to come so stay tuned, i'll do the rest tomorrow. I still need to do Allens, Batmans, Jamwa, Nido, Nikes, Sebby, Dekar, Mozart, Jei, V, Grim Tuesday, Khoa, TT, Fenix and like a bajillion more, so don't worry I won't leave you out! :D :p

Guys Telstra are effing me in the a right now so I won't have net for at least a few days. I'll try synch up as much as I can then get onto uploads when my net is up. Looking through the files there is a ****ton of brawl matches, did you guys record the entire bracket or something? Melee was like, top 6 lol.

Thanks Billy - I enjoyed playing you and your thoughts post match were interesting, something I hadn't really considered. Also if you have any questions etc when playing me just ask them, I tend not to give advice/feedback unless asked because I feel it's condescending.

Just quickly:
Splice said:

DUDE THIS IS SO TRUE OMB

So this is the first BAM I've been to since M2K schooled on us (even though I was sick) so I guess I should put some effort into shout outs for once. It's better than the alternative (watching the Code Geass dub at uni).

Tibor: no longer the king of second bananas. If I just wanna be serious here for a moment (I don't really...) I would say you're definitely my hardest opponent, no one else can really two-stock me that convincingly without me screwing up. Thanks for taking time out of your busy schedule of practising single nana lock to watch plebeians like Toshi and I duke it out.

Attila: nice tournament. We didn't play (yay). Erm, sorry for not speaking much when I was at the commentary setup with you. Although even if I had my voice I probably wouldn't say anything...

Splice: Olimar is trash (contrary to popular belief, OBest is not the best). G&W is still too good for me though, you force me to play in a style that is completely counter-intuitive to my usual one to have a chance (and I hate that JUST LET ME STAY IN MY SHIELD ALL DAY). Maybe we should friendly one day. But yeah nah anyways good job. How dare you fsmash me like that.

Ledge: plz stop losing to Splice's c-stick it's making me cry. Thanks for lending me that controller I don't know what I would've done without it.

iSebby: I like to give you a bit of **** but you're actually a pretty good player, but then you get yourself killed in the stupidest ways which ruins that image. I think you'd be able to beat me more readily if you cut down on the spam as well... maybe. Nice talking to you I guess.

Jei: you always seem to take a game off me every time we play so if you work hard, stop losing to low tier and BELIEVE IN THE MAGIC you'll be back on top where you belong.

ViVa: teams was amazing, thanks for random lol friendlies as usual and double-checking the bracket with me. You're a competent player so if you ever want to practise seriouslies you'd improve, I have more free time than I can use so maybe we should do that... but we'd just play Brawl- or something which is legit in its own way.

Jamwa: well man you improved a lot since when I last played you, game 1 was far too close for comfort. Please don't learn how to punish Inhale that's too much for me.

Toshi: dude you're still too good for me, good thing Dedede can control the Halberd claw as he desires. You're way too good for 13th but you did well in Melée which is legit. It was nice of you to share your in-depth analysis of the Brawl matches on the projector with me.

Allens: you seem to enjoy your Brawl which is a nice change from all these Victorians who are always throwing things and punching walls. Set was close-ish but you were too good as usual and will only become better with more experience under your belt.

Grim: friendlies were fun, Jigglypuff is too good stop resting my recovery. It's a shame you didn't play in bracket, you could've done pretty well imo (I mean if I could come fifth...). You've reached a level where we can't just say "lolSA" anymore which I respect.

Yosh: dude you're really legit you just need to stop SDing like every game. Friendlies were really even and it's not like I was sandbagging or anything. You could be really good if you keep coming to tournaments, shame you left before we could put you in the DEATH POOL though.

S.D: GGs, considering this was your first Brawl tournament since forever you could probably match me if you were practised... but I don't think that's going to happen so congratulations in Melée, 4-stocking Dekar makes you my hero.

Negai: I'm sorry I couldn't speak to you much when you asked me for tips, even today I still can't talk well -_- your Ness is very competent and probably lacks a bit of match-up experience, after our set I could see that you'd improved a lot though.

Luco + Silhouette: man dubs was the best, as reluctant as I am to hand over the title of King of Spear Pillar and King of Lucas-Fourways you guys deserve them. My Mr. Spam & Spam was just no match.

Nicks: not entering singles, this guy knows what's up. You should've joined us as Lucas though, you just don't know how to have fun.

Khoa: I would've liked to speak more but it was impossible. Thanks for friendlies, GJ in crews and sad you couldn't come on Sunday.

Mozart: dude your set vs. Gary was SO HYPE you're improving all the time keep it up how dare you 3-stock my Pikachu.

Ugly: thanks for coming out of retirement to honour us with your presence, Ganon dittos are the best.

Timic: what the hell did you do to my laptop background WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?

TV: my hardest opponent all weekend, I have some strange bruises on my forearms now... and on my foot. I suppose the last time I performed an activity resembling exercise was about four years ago so this is what happens.

So yeah fun tournament, being sick for it sucked though. And if anyone's missing a sensor bar let me know although I have a feeling it might be SL's so I'll just bring it next tournament/meet. I'm sick of coming fifth.

DUDE THIS IS SO TRUE OMB
Jei: you always seem to take a game off me every time we play so if you work hard, stop losing to low tier and BELIEVE IN THE MAGIC you'll be back on top where you belong.
OMB = Oh My...Buddah?
Yeah man you are the first person in a long time that has said I belong on top. The top is my home, and I'm getting home sick.

First of all, to everyone including me in their thanks for running the tournament, it was all Attila and Dean. Attila ran the tournament, Dean created the bracket and made matches happen, I...showed up and played smash. So direct your thanks to them. ^__^

So here are my External Yells, or shout outs, as the majority seems to call them.

OoS

Btmns: Always welcome at my home. That last friendly on Sunday night against Attila was the best I've seen you play ever.
Allens: Don't be a hater, Pit loves you. Good to see you again.
Luco: You were a lot better than I thought you would be, I didn't think I would have to figure out Ness ever again.
Grim: lolPuff, no question you are the Australian Brawl Puff. But she's so bad. Your MK is heaps better than last time I played you.
Cal: You seemed distant this time around, at least to me, which was different. Still good to see you again.
Nikes: I can seriously play Yoshi dittos for days straight. You did well against Melbourne players, especially for your first tourney outside Adelaide.

VIC

Dean: You and Sebby are my two least favourite people to play against in bracket, but two of my very favouritist people in the scene. But GG's, it was still fun.
Sebby: You and Dean are my two least favourite people to play against in bracket, but two of my very favouritist people in the scene. But GG's, it was still fun.
Splice: I haven't played you in Brawl for over a year or something. Fun times outside of the tourney talking about stuff and whatnot.
Attila: Everything went smoothly, a little too smoothly...friendlies against you are getting way more fun. I don't know what changed, whether you are sandbagging harder or I'm not getting fair spiked or whatever. But the games are just becoming really enjoyable for me.
Tibs: Grats brah, supreme Diddy.
Viva: You can't seem to escape being a Mario main, 7th place bros.
Toshi: Beat Dean for me next time kthanks.

Dekar: Good to see you for the first time since last BAM or whatever lol.
Redact: "Kick your sh*t!!" when you dsmashed my egg throw. I'm still laughing about that.
Timic: You played so good this weekend.
Joey: for the best metaphor I've heard in a while

Everyone else: My break at work is finished so I can't include you all
But quick mentions: Silvana & Wayne, Nido, Negai, Silhouette, Ugly

Congrats to the winners.

Good to see no MK's in the top 3. Even better to see a D3 in the top 5, and an Olimar in the top 3. Where is Earl?

Pretty disappointed I couldn't attend, even to just give Queensland some more Rep in Brawl.

At SS, lets show them what QLD can do.

You win and I'll create more upsets, k, go!

Oh I wish I could of gone, I'm glad to hear Nikes did well :D
Yea Nikes made it into Pro. I'll include him in my shoutouts but yea I think Nikes is a serious contender for top Yoshi in aus.

BC I made Pro, i'm so happy... but i'll be trying top find some way to fund myself so that Silhouette and myself can come down for SS. <3

More shoutouts:

Allens - So I really oughtta check that PR! :p In any case, lemme just say that you're an awesome guy. Your MK shouldn't need much more before it's taking on the big stuff and your DK will always be challenging for me, considering my main. That isn't to take away from you at all though. You're a totally solid player and I want to see you improve because I reckon SA's strength will largely depend upon you and the other top ranking PR members there. Us out-of-staters will take on Melbourne in a bigger crew battle next time! :p But yup, keep going as you are and keep coming because I seriously enjoy playing you! =D

Batmans - our secret weapon in crews, i'm surprised I didn't play you as much in friendlies. You remind me a lot of Allens in your demeanor which is a great thing and your TL is seriously super scary, which is saying a lot because until recently TL was one of the characters I was never scared of. Thanks for constantly being supportive and friendly dude! :D I'll definitely have to play you in friendlies next time, I hope you come to SS or next BAM because i'll be doing whatever I can to ensure i'll be at one of them. ^^

Jamwa - Your Lucas is outstanding and i'm honestly not sure who's the better out of us. I did pick up on a few things with your Lucas but most of them just come with the playstyle and i'm sure you'll nut it out yourself, though one thing I will say is that I want you not to let nerves get to you when recovering. I noticed quite a few times you'd try to recover and mess up because you didn't wanna be gimped or you were ever so slightly rushing it. Just learn to take your time, Lucas' recovery is actually seriously good and versatile so just relax on it and I know you'll be fine. Otherwise I enjoyed our friendlies heaps and loved that win on game 1 you pulled on Attila when you faced him in bracket, that was super exciting. In regards to that first statement of mine in this shoutout, I reckon that you'll probably end up better than me anyway due to experience with our top players if I don't come down more regularly, so i'll be coming down whenever I can for big stuff like this (yayyy!). Other than that... you don't mind if I keep my claim of knowing that Lucas-Lucas MU ya? It's like one of the only things I can be informative and knowledgeable on! :p :3

I've gotta go out to dinner but i'll keep going later. :D

That's good to hear, this makes me wonder if I could make it to pro bracket.

Dude i'm sure you would, you're definitely around the level of/above the level of Nido, Nikes, Jamwa and myself, i'm sure. ^_^
If you say so, and thanks for the encouragement haha.

Some of my issues for SS is D3, the Mother boys (Ness even more, I'm horrible at the MU), Attila, Tibs, Ledge and other players from other states such as Matt and Apollo haha.

That victory screen... Poor Falcon.
That picture of S.D somehow reminds me of Mitch from the T.V show Modern Family.

Shoutout to Attila for running the tournament smoothly and to Tibs for winning it. Gj to you both.

Great to see heaps of new players and an all round high skill level.
Thanks to all the interstaters for coming down, was cool to catchup/meet you all.

Just some quick shoutouts to a few people:

Adelaide crew are always a pleasure.
B@man: Good job in teams, we did well and it was a pleasure teaming with you.
Grim: I really liked our MM, it gave me heaps of MU experience against ICs which is always handy. Ohh and it also gave me $2 :).
Allens: Lots of GGs, learn that MK tech and feel free to ask for tips or whatever.
Nikes: That's some crazy/weird tech you have with Yoshi.

Vic da Bess.
Mozart: Gawd that wolf is scary.
Sebby: Get on my level bro :p.
Billy: GGs, Olimar dittos ftw, ohh wait..
Viva: Sorry.

I really can't tell you how much I respect you as both a player and a person and I am so looking forward to seeing you again when I next come down (actually more Melbourne peeps need to come up to Sydney sometimes... ;_; ). :D
This made my day, thanks :). Glad you and your bro enjoyed it and looking forward to seeing you again. I would travel more except I'm still a poor Uni student for a while longer.

Ledge: plz stop losing to Splice's c-stick it's making me cry. Thanks for lending me that controller I don't know what I would've done without it.
It was making me cry too. I'll learn the MU to the point that I'll never lose to Olimar again!
nps with the controller, anytime.

few shoutouts to;
Attila: we both made plenty of mistakes that changed matches so yeahh i guess i made less which was the only difference in the outcome. the MU is still in snakes favour and falco has advantages too, everyone will agree. anyway bro gg. SS to look forward too now

Billy: gj billy coming 3rd and plays dota all day lol. umm GnW is so so annoying, juggles all day and kills at like 50%. winners semi's was scary, like 2nd game when you took first stock and starting planking im like oh god gg. i was lucky to get that KO as soon as came back up otherwise my mind wouldve been messed up :S 1st time ive played an olimar since Jayce and they were pretty similar. If I didnt learn the MU for Jayce's i woudlve been in trouble. It's tough for olimar or diddy to get in and land clean hits, all about gimps bro. GG's and hope you continue to improve that oli
also doubles felt like it was easier than it normally was. i dunno if attila and I had improved or something but i know you guys couldve done better ! :)

Ledge: we didnt play but im sure we wouldve had a great match. i felt pretty comfortable against you in friendlies. had rhythm and timing down. i was ready for you in losers or winners ;) MM me if you want.

Jei: watching your pit is so fun, like i think i know half the stuff you will do and then sometimes you pull out amazing options with this bad character hahaha. runs tournies and wins at life. hope you enjoyed this year BAM and come to SS :)

SD: king of melee bro, verse this guy for lke 3 straight hours and i take 1 game hahaha. i enjoyed most games :p definitely deserved #1 this tournament.

Deks: gets given a free winners bracket GF but cant finish itt lol. looks as if SD just overwhelmed you, sick matches to watch. Can never count you out with your amazing reads and pressure at the ledge. Gj Deks

Dean: my boi Dean, watching you verse toshi was one of the highlights of the tournament lol, dat claw. you pulled it back! SD's twice, and toshi totally thought he had it in the bag hahaha. You versing billy's GnW looked like an almost impossible MU, felt bad watching haha. shouldve used marth! see you at monthly bro.

Yosh: this zss that keeps SD'ing haha. for only joining the scene like a month ago you are truly impressive! obviously just needs to keep practicing tech and you will be so much better! hope you enjoyed games against me as I did with you. Gj.

Nikes: what a nice guy, hadnt heard of you until you came into my house hehe. hope you enjoyed first melbourne tournament and hope you come to Shadowloo. Train up hard, punish people for not knowing the MU ;)

Allens: i dont think i versed your DK once :( only mk which was annoying :p come to shadowloo with all the SA crew!!

Viva: your psychic powers worked!! haha. good seeing you again bro, and i will use diddy next time i promise haha!

Joey: My partner in crime, almost wins melee with luigi rofl. what a boss. even though you cheered against me against splice (douche :p) i still love you. highlight was when i spiked Attila in gf's and you yelled "YEAH, HOW DO YOU LIKE IT?" hahahaha so good. hopefully see you at next monthly bro.

Jamwa: ughhh this lucas!! very frustrating to play against but was a decent set. you hit me with upsmashes at like 70 and i died TWICE! :( you had me scared. gg's though and ill vs you next time in bracket :D

Sebby: hahaa so funny. godlike diddykong, uses upsmash to try to get a kill, glidetosses like once in a game hahahaha <3 sebby

BTMNS: what a cool guy. i hate that toonlink MU! i just want to go ham on you but am forced to play that patient game :( even when you are recovering i have to stay put. so bad. Gj though. 2nd game in bracket was close! pretty good for not playing for 6months or however long you said lol. oh and ill play LoL with you too ^_^

lastly to all the newbies that were there, thanks so much for coming! it looked like you really enjoyed yourselves and are keen on learning more about smash which is awesome. so please come to meets/tournies whenever

gg's all

Tibs is back, baby
