You don't make sense.

It's as if someone is already running. Compare the dash grab to the running shieldgrab, not two incomparable situations such as the opponent is right next to you versus other side of the stage.

It's not about shield drop lag. It's about shield START UP lag. You can't do a dashing shieldgrab until the shield fully forms, which takes at least 3 frames if you're perfect. So 9+ vs 8 with around the same range. :\

Yeah, that pretty much defeats the purpose framewise.

And dashgrab doesn't have too bad of afterlag as opposed to someone like Falco's.
