You should rank your players according to ordinal utility rather than cardinal utility as a measure of their expected performance. In other words, rather than ranking players as best to worst on the team, treat them as relative equals and rank them by what they have to offer in a given situation.

That said, I think using NEO against WC is a remarkably safe move. They have so much Marth experience it might actually damage them, since Nathaniel is likely to have developed a fairly different mindset and style fostered by playing in a vastly different region and consequently opening them up to bad habits. The real place you want to avoid using Marth/Lucario and to a lesser extent Snake is in the South since it has 2 of the 3 best DDD players. We should be much more concerned with skewed counter matches rather than our skill base to avoid wasting needless stocks from opening ourselves up to poor counter picks.

I will keep this all in mind.

The thing that made your post unintelligent was that you said will wasn't consistent but it really is the opposite. Cable has won a tournament but hasn't been in so many tournaments so he isn't as consistent, but Will consistently places 9th or higher (getting 3rd at one) over the past couple of months.
But calling you unintelligent really isn't nice and was kind of uncalled for, I apologize.

In the end they are both amazing DKs and should both be considered for the crew.

they are thinking about it but i dissagree with it completely. having a tristate md/va rivalry at this is stupid. Although i do think both regions would do extremely well, i would rather put everything aside, put our best together, and then just absolutely wreck everyone else, so that everyone knows that atl. north is leauges above everyone else

we can do md/va vs tristates whenever, dont waste pound 4 for something that can happen anytime

It's not up to you. Go convince the others with your argument to make sure it doesn't happen though. ^_^

Also, your last sentence could be seen from the other perspective as well (in other words, failed logic.) This is MD/VA's only chance to compete with other regions BESIDES tristate, since it's clear our players don't go OoS often. I don't think that would be wasting Pound 4 at all.
