Hey guys. So we ended up deciding to have the tourney on the 31st for a few reasons:
1) 17th is right after Evo and we get back from Vegas on the 15th.
2) 24th sucks from everybody
3) nobody had a real, for sure, problem with the 31st.

To the people who are coming (or thinking about coming) to ARK II, here's our facebook event page. Please RSVP on there so that we can get a general idea of numbers. We'll have some more info on the coming days with an individual thread on Smash.

I was actually thinking about having an Independence day smashathon this weekend at my house if anyone would like to come. I really don't feel like driving after that Indiana trip lol.

My mom and sister both have upcoming birthdays, so I'll be at home this weekend :(

I feel your pain though. Living in Arkansas is bad enough, but living in a smashless part of Arkansas? Depressing.

Alright, so someone name me a Pokemon that:
- is normally pink.
- is blue when shiny.
- weighs 8.8 pounds.
- learns Transform.
- has equal base stats across the board.

What the...Mew and Ditto are like exactly the same if you put it like that. Even though Ditto is kinda purple, so Mew would be the correct answer.

I'm of the opinion that Dittos are just failed attempts at creating Mew/Mewtwo. Because where are they found? Oh yeah, the Cinnabar Island lab where Mewtwo was created, and the Cerulean cave where he hangs out in RBY.

My bad, I didn't mean the lab, I meant the burned-out mansion. You know, the one with all the journal entries that say things like:

July 5
Guyana, South America. A new Pokémon was discovered deep in the jungle.

July 10
We christened the newly discovered Pokémon Mew.

February 6
Mew gave birth. We named the newborn Mewtwo.

September 1
Mewtwo is far too powerful. We have failed to curb its vicious tendencies...
