A lot of players are either in LR and Conway which games do you play? You should join the Arkansas Smash Society group on Facebook if you haven't already.

Arkansas' community is super spread through pretty much every corner of the state. Little Rock is starting to grow along with the Conway area, there's going to be a Conway tournament this Saturday and it's expected to have a good turnout of 30+ people.

Hey, just posting this for anyone that isn't on FB. Fort Smith has an upcoming regional featuring Melee and PM on July 25th. We'll have over $400 in total pot bonuses as well as round robin pools for both games.

- All tournaments are Double Elimination.
- Either player/team may elect for a blind character pick at the beginning of the set.

Sm4sh Singles Rules

-Mewtwo, Lucas, Roy, and Ryu are legal.
* All matches will be 3 stock matches, with a time limit set to 7 minutes.
* All sets will be the best out of 3 matches, except for the Losers and Winners Finals, and Grand Finals which are best out of 5.
* Items are OFF.
*Equipment is OFF, no exceptions.
*Custom moves are OFF except for Palutena and Mii Fighters.
*Miis Fighters are allowed if approved and uploaded before the tournament begins.
* If there is a tie at the end of the time limit, then the person with more stocks wins. If both players have the same amount of stocks, then the person with the lower percent of damage wins.
* Players are expected to bring their own controller. Any non-first party controllers must be inspected by an official before use. Any official controller is allowed except for the Wii U GamePad. You can use a GameCube controller, Wiimote + Nunchuk or Classic Controller, Wii U Pro Controller, or your 3DS.


STAGE SELECTION:
Round 1 - Players first play rock, paper, scissors (RPS) to determine who bans THREEstarters first. The loser then picks from the remaining starters. Players may agree to start on a random Omega stage, or choose a random Starter if they agree to.
Rounds 2/3 – winner of previous round strikes FOUR stages (FD/Omega ban counts as one), loser picks from any remaining Starters or Counterpicks.

Hey guys I posted earlier in another thread about how I wanna set up an Arkansas version of td-4 the big tournament the west coast had . I could host the tournament myself if we can't raise money for a venue. Besides I got a 60 inch TV ! Anyways, my name is Brandon jones you can find me there on Facebook if you'd like. I've attended 2 tournaments here in Arkansas didn't win either one by a long shot and I'm hoping to meet some of those guys that beat me again. I want to get better and with my limited internet I can only do this locally which is better for lag anyways. My handle is vash and I main Roy. If for some reason you check this chat, you should take a look at Razor Smash Bash 3, on March 12th. It's a tournament exclusively for Melee/PM in a series that used to host all 3 games. The more interest in this kind of thing the better, and the past two events had plenty of out of state competition so I'd imagine this will be the same.

Hey, guys!! Louisiana is hosting a big tournament called the South Louisiana Major (SLAM 2017) on April 1st (not an April Fool's joke) and we want you guys to come out and play. We have both Melee and Smash 4 here both with a $200 and $300 Pot Bonus respectively. We also have pot bonuses for other games such as SFV and KoFXIV totaling to about $2,000 so far (there will be more to come). We have a good hotel with good space and good food in the area as well. There are also a good number of players that will offer up possible housing. Let us know if you're interested!! Hope to see y'all there!!
