To be fair, I haven't complained about anything. I just bring up things I think could be improved, and asking questions about said subject and offer advice. No one should be viewing this in a negative light because there is no negativity. It's possible to discuss things intelligently without insulting people or complaining.


Strife: I understood your analogy at least, but if you have a problem with someones mentality just don't comment on it. You are on a video game forum, it's nothing to worry about.

I think us staff are doing whats in the best interest of this event and I hope to see everyone enter that can come to this. Our goal is 300+ for each game.

Standing up for something I believe in does not in any way make me look stupid. It's my choice and I'm not asking others to not enter because of it. I'd really appreciate it if you wouldn't try to incite drama when I'm trying to help this thread get back on topic.

Well I think you have a right to stand up for what you believe in. But you also should know when you pick your fights. IIRC you are a fox main right or did you switch to Icz in the two years I seen you play melee at Apex 2009 ? I remember that event vividly but I do not remember tbh.

Either way if you want to help make the tournament why not volunteer to be a helper.

Yes I main fox and yes I played melee at the first apex and placed 13th. What does that have to do with anything we are talking about? You seriously need to realize when people are trying to help you and not demean them for it.

I take it personal only cause I, and others, are killing ourselves over this. We put THOUSANDS into this and a statement like that bothers me. If I take it too far I am sorry but I had to say how I feel.

Alex is an amazing host, and works amazingly hard. Has great player outreach, and does a ton. I focus on events, sponsorships, and news posts. Together, along with Cristin, Chibo, and the dozens of dedicated workers/commentators/volunteers, we make Apex happen.

If there is a rule someone doesn't like, I'm sorry. Nothing is going to change at all unless it's a necessary measure.

I'm going to start reporting EVERY post talking about such topics. If you want rules to change, join the bbr/mbr/urc, or become a world wide host. You don't realize that a few people unhappy about a rule is better than a ton of them raging at our event, making us look bad in front of sponsors.

If you can't handle the game without Wobbling, you have no place playing. Like Hylian said, he's not entering, but would with wobbling. I respect his approach. The rest of you need to move on. Quickly.
