I'm seeing mixed things of a possible MK ban at this tourney on facebook.

What's going on?

there will brawl setups friday and melee setups sat.

We are working on 20 free play setups for each game along with the other tournament setups.

Nietono is pretty much the best in Japan imo so I'm happy with that enough but we still get the Brood, Rain, and Kakera so I'm beastly hyped.

I do think Gluttony has the highest chance of doing well at Apex from OOS so he's gotta come.

On another note, I've spoken to some of our best players recently about what they think of OOC competition. I think its silly for them to think they can take them out no problem now. First off, Europe's big guns are actually coming this time, including Gluttony who is 2-1 against Ally. 2nd, not only is Brood, the guy who took out alot of people including Ally and M2K is coming, but THE BETTER OLIMAR NIETONO is coming too. ~Anything Brood can do he can do bettaaa~ :D

We already had Armada come to Genesis 1 with MANY people saying "He'll be lucky if he gets top 16" and he was 1 hit away from first. We had Japan come to the last Apex with people going "maybe they can get top 8" and 2 of them did with one taking out the *supposed to be* top 2 in the world. Although Mango is in country, it reminds me of him too when he beat M2K at that 1 round tourney lol. People said he ain't that good and he went through losers bracket round 1 straight to winning the entire tournament of Pound 3.

Keep them minds open people instead of going "HOLY **** WTF" last minute.

dmbrandon gonna get raaaaped!!

Surprise wins or almost wins are very hype but that happens at every national regardless. I just want people to realize that someone in Japan or EU will likely be placing top 5 at least at Apex for Brawl.

I don't know too much about the Melee scene anymore :(

so, taking bets on highest placing Non-US/Ally player. Actual player and placing.

I say kakera gets 3rd place. Is Q-bee coming or no? If so I say Q-bee for 3rd place instead.

At the Japanese National tourney where I posted the results earlier, 9B got 13th. JUST SAYING!

Lool, I had to do some forensic decryption on his text too. Suinoko says that he won't be able to make it because of his job...I heard the APEX team is working hard to get him though. Hope y'all pull through!

So I was playing that Melee today. Getting my *** whooped by some decent players. By the end of the night I remembered how to dash dance correctly and drop through platforms lol so I was beating them near the end.

Entering for Melee singles?? Maybe! If so I'm making it to 2nd round pools at least.

lmao @ forensic decryption.

I missed the last Apex meeting so I dunno what the current situation is on 9B but I'm sure something is being worked out hopefully.

I loved it back when I used to play it competitively a long time ago. Its hard getting back into thinking I can get gimped off of anything. Its pretty fun. If I can get back to how good I used to be I would be very happy. Doesn't seem that hard to do since I already practice alot of basic concepts when I play Brawl (sheild grabbing, baiting, predicting rolls, etc).

I may say **** it if I get 4 stocked by some pro though lol. Was going to enter Melee at my own tourney in the summer but I was too busy hosting. I shouldn't be crazy busy at this tourney.
