He plays Snake at his full potential, he doesn't only spam the same moves but he mixes his strategy up making him unpredictable. Not many people can beat the best character in the game played by a top notch player, so of course he is good.

I was disappointed with the finals for that reason. I was really excited to see them initially because I had thought Ally would be 3-stocking Ace's MK. What was Ace thinking using those other characters?

Either he knew he'd lose to Ally anyways or Ally and Ace agreed to split 50/50 before the set. The latter being highly unlikely unless Ally was a super nice guy because he had a pretty sure win on Ace regardless.

ally is definitely really good i like his snake the most out of all the snakes i've seen so far i think because he uses snakes whole move set where as alot of others that i have seen that are good don't really utilize everything.

Pretty tight to 3-stock twice in the Finals though lol.

I didn't really find the 3-stocks impressive given that Ace's secondaries, from what I can tell, look like ***. It reminds of when HRNut randomly brought out his 1-week old Falco against Afro Thundah a couple months ago at Gigabits. >_>

it's actually a fun tool if you know how to guide it perfectly or punish random rolling, making them get hit once it pops out.

I've seen snake players reverse short hop them and immediately drop it for weird mindgames at close range.

Snake has that WTF potential hardcore.

Kinagce is good just his 2ndaires. Hes not master of everyone like you.

But yeah im pretty sure Kingace beat Seibrik in a mm at ch4 if u were wondering. That was his mk though(which is the good char) of his/only nadoes.

Whats most important to watch are Ally's smart, spacing traps, not his Dthrow combos.

I saw a vid one time of him staying at perfect Ftilt range,pressuring their shield, then when they rolled behind him he Dair'd them. It was really impressive, considering I normally just turn and grab or turn and Ftilt, while other people dodge and roll away.

It's these kind of things that make Ally genious.

Another trap he has, he lays down a grenade, at close range, then predicts you to roll around it, and has his way with you (Ftilt, Dair, grab).

Ally is good at making people do things he can easily punish (a lot of tech chasing, and pressuring).

kingace i wouldnt worry about it, 95% of the character forums arent good at brawl, and 90% are just idiots who like to put down good players who actually place and get money for playing brawl, while they dont enter tourneys and play online a lot. you dont have anything to prove to these people.

im often told im a pretty mediocre snake, but tourney winnings in a competitive region pays the price of entry fee, so no complaints here.

I played Ally, and watched most of his matches that day. It doesn't matter how good or bad Ace is, Ally's skill is undeniable. The only reason Ace went Wario/Falco was because he was intimidated about Snake having the edge on Meta Knight. It still wasn't the best decision. Regardless, Ally is a fantastic player, and I doubt anyone less than M2K could compete with him.

Criticize all you want, but Canada was there, watching the **** unfold.

the funny thing is we all said the same thing when ally first said he was coming to the montreal tournament and that his snake doesn't look anything impressive in the videos. the thing is with brawl is you can't tell the exact level of a player by watching his videos, but I assure you all that ally and kingace are better than most of you guys here. I heard it from the canadians that played m2k and azen that ally is at their level and he has a chance of winning. so I don't know why all this hate on ally when most of you guys never played him maybe because people in the states are used to underrate canada

man relying on spam isn't the "nobel" route. And I watched one match when you were in doubles, it wasn't that bad (you were fighting G&W) but the spam was focused using Nair and shuttle loop.

If Kingace simply relied on spam, then there's no way he would've beaten some of those players. Point prove.

Still, nadospam is a crutch you shouldn't have to rely on, because as soon as you fight someone who can counter it, you'll have to fight without any sense of security. Sliq had options against nado he simply didn't use (no Up B OSS?) and with them he probably would've won.
