Sure, that's true, but Ally has proven himself to be the best player in Canada. So he's not JUST an overhyped player with no real record or way to prove himself. XD

WHUT. Are you serious. FYI, azen said himself he got lucky he won vs kingace, cause kingace sded. Kingace isnt a noob, and ally beat him 3 times in a row. So please cort, inform yourself instead of flaming people.
EDIT: Kingace was the mk that got fifth at ch4, so hes far from being noob Cort. He was 3 places away from you <.<

Have you ever spoken to/seen Azen's posts? Look at his HOBO 11 shoutouts, if you didn't see the results and you just look at his post youd think he got *****. He says he gets lucky vs everyone.
Also, if you actually read Cort's post you'd see that he didn't call Kingace or Ally bad. He's talking about the ppl that are going crazy over the videos.
Please reread what i quoted from him, he implied the guy he pwned(kingace) was some crappy player. Yes azen is humble, but it still doesnt change the fact that kingace was winning vs him all the way in the last match of last set and he sded.

Ally is really good, and seems like a cool guy online. I would love to play him in a real tournament some day. His Snake > Mine by far.

It looks like this should have been a pools match vs someone who didn't make it to the bracket, not a grand finals match.
In order for everyone to shut up about Ally vs the US, Canada just needs to host a few tournaments with a decent entry fee for Ally to win. Ally can then use that money to go to a major US tournament. Until that happens, there's no reason to even dare to compare, because you cannot. Every region plays the game differently, and anyone that goes to a different state to play will tell you that for a tournament. From match up experience to the basic fundamentals of the game, everything is at different levels, and thus cannot be compared, measured, or other wise discussed.
An internet pissing contest is pointless. I'm glad that Ally isn't a douche bag that partakes in them. Take his lead.

I was disappointed with the finals for that reason. I was really excited to see them initially because I had thought Ally would be 3-stocking Ace's MK. What was Ace thinking using those other characters?

ally is definitely really good i like his snake the most out of all the snakes i've seen so far i think because he uses snakes whole move set where as alot of others that i have seen that are good don't really utilize everything. I don't know if it was just a bad game for the guy but that dudes wario didn't seem too spectacular, alot of his approaches didn't work but i didn't see any attempt to try to adapt which is why he got 3 stocked. i've definitely seen better wario's and falcos as far as those two matches so i wouldn't judge ally's skill based on that guy, he's played and done really well against people like sk92 and azen, those are the matches to watch.
