id rather be a top tourney placer for 3-6 months and quit (i.e. KDJ), then be mediocre for 3-6 years (i.e. shinku ). ive devoted my focus solely back on snake so i can keep my tricks and tactics fresh in my mind for all my tourney matches.

im a little insulted for being mediocre, but its all good, i dont even like brawl and as long as i dont suck lol.

the problem with all this brawl motivation and training is...after 2 hours brawl gets so boring u cant keep playing (unless ur wyling). i know i have moments where im like AITE TIME TO **** IN BRAWL then 2 hours later im doing something more entertaining like playing melee or organizing paperwork.

i would say i agree with john 100% but i can play brawl all day... but casual, not serious, i can't play brawl serious for more than two hours at a time, unless its teams... singles just get boring...

i need to step it in that regard, no more holding back in casuals... for an hour or so, hahahahah

plus i could play seriously for like... a month probably hahahahahahahah...

a month until i pick another character... then its a cycle of fun!!!!!!!!!!!

however, stepping definitely needs to take place

I can keep playing as long as I'm losing. That means there's always something to figure out and a way to get better.

Then I can keep playing even when I'm winning. Now that I can win, I want to work on increasing that gap to the point where I can consistently 2-3 stock that same player.

When I'm 3 stocking consistently, then I'll probably get bored.

if your really bored go play a mid/low tier. Youd be surprised at how much more thinking is required when ur not playing a character thats really good.

As long as I'm fighting a good Snake, MK, or another Diddy I can play for extended periods of time. Every other character is boring as balls to play against unless the person using them is extraordinarily good and doesn't camp.
