Who cares? High anticipation doesn't automatically make a game good, nor does a large fanbase. *cough* Brawl *cough*Wow, you guys just don't understand how BIG SF4 is. Do realize the fighting game community has been waiting like 12 years for this right?
it does look kinda slow, round two was interesting but **** is always interesting lol.
but candy, the game will be huge cus it has such a large fan base... but it does look slow... however i'm not sure if that is because TvC is the first 2-d fighter i really played
exactly, every time you hit someone, you have a chance to mix it up/ trick them into hitting them again. It's so satisfying so continuously trick someone.TvC was the first 2D fighter I've really tried to play and I enjoyed it. SF4 is my second.
SF4, at high levels, is in no way slow. Watching it from a 3rd person point of view it may SEEM slow, but when you're the player, there's only a small frame to react to pretty much anything that is thrown at you. During the small window, you have to decide if you'll block it, evade it, absorb it, or try to counter it. Remember that the fighting arena for SF4 is much smaller than Smash so you're almost always in range to be hit.
The game, IMO, has a good pace and it is also very technical.
more like originals took over xD

@ Candy: You just don't understand the game enough. Once you get into it it you realize all of the mind games and that makes it entertaining. Just like in brawl, if you see how badly someone tricks the other that makes it even more fun to watch.
and the match I showed you took under 2 minutes. A brawl match takes like 4 to 5. How can you be calling it slow?
