Wow we're horribly busted tier.
Sentinel

Storm

Magneto

Cable

Hey we're still 100000 times better than 3/4 of the cast.

Iron Man

War Machine

Strider

Spiral

We'd be so good if storm, cable, sentinel, and magneto werent in the game tier

Blackheart

Tron Bonne

We'd be way too good if this game was assists only tier

Psylocke

Captain Commando

Cyclops

Clockw0rk makes us really good even though we're garbage tier.

Doctor Doom

Strider

I have this funky glitch where I activate my super and tag out and my assist does about 1/3 of your life, but I still suck really bad tier.

Juggernaut

Wow this game is really imbalanced tier

everyone else.

So I was playing melee the other night with skrach colbol and dop and I wasn't getting owned which makes me kinda excited about this.

They probably weren't trying though.

If you're just picking a secondary on their ability to beat peach (I don't know what other matchups ic players care about), I'd go marth over sheik, personally. Though there are probably other considerations I'm not aware of.

my sheik is nasty son!!! mm?
I would, but sadly you counter my two mains harshly, and I would rather not give away free money.

My other main isn't good yet, but when he is I will.

edit: If I remember how to pivot worth **** and get a bit better by fast I'll MM your fox for $5.00.

lol icys lose to a lot of characters other than peach, she just happens to be the worst matchup. But sheik can take care of Marth, luigi, peach, and samus. Fox is a terrible icys secondary since he's really hard to play (just like icys) and he also looses to marth. Sheik is just too easy and good at countering.

Nah bro, the only stage in which marth might have the upper edge of the matchup is FD (chaingrab), fox vs marth is actually pretty even IMO.
Yoshi's gives marth and advantage I think, the platforms are perfect for tips and combos.

Rather I think Fd gives fox and advantage, with a lot of space to do juggled aerials and laser camping. Everywhere else its pretty fair.

Juan is m2k staying at your house that whole time from fast till this.

Exactly why you should go Marth against Peach. Marth WRECKS Peach... Sheik goes about even. And Fox has a slight advantage.
why is this so wrong?

Marth does really well vs peach, but like... its winnable.

Fox just counters peach on about every level. There's one very specific reason why peach never gets the top spot at national tournaments, and that, my friends, is fox mccloud.

I don't mind Marth vs Peach, but I would rather use fox.

Not really. Marth vs Fox is probably one of Fox's hardest matchups imo. Just about any stage with platforms is hard for fox, because once your on the platforms thats like about 70+ damage right there. Why do you think M2K loves playing fox? lol

Well, of course it's winnable, it's just a severe up-hill battle. I know that you personally think the match-up is more even than most, but even you agree Marth has a big advantage.

And though I would agree that Fox does really well against Peach too, I'd rather fight a Fox than a Marth.

well there arent a whole lot of foxes in FL that play the peach matchup correctly. There are alot of AMAZING fox's in FL but i'll tell you i'd rather play cobol's fox anyday over Iori, or chinesahh, or people like them. They are significantly worse than colbol but they do the peach match up correctly, and that means peach has to try and run fox down while he shoots lasers til kill percents.

At least with marth you can sort of control the pace on FD with turnips, but yeah even then its not a fun matchup.

So the correct way to do the Fox/Peach match-up is to "laser camp" Peach? That is pretty gay. I'll be sure not to spread the news. But if that's the case, why isn't Falco a terrible match-up for Peach? Is it because he moves slower and has more trouble killing?

True story: me and Pat beat KM and Chinesahh in a pools set at Pound*3. That has nothing to do with the debate, I'm just sayin'... kinda proud of that.

yes that is precisely the point! :)

well... actually :( for peach.

Falco is better simply because catching him, killing him, and surviving are all significantly easier.

If your wanting to beat peach, go fox.

I'd rather pick an un even matchup for peach rather then an even one, Pritch.
Lol. You're smoking crack. Perhaps not as much crack as you were smoking when you were trying to convince exarch and me that peach counters marth on the way back from FCD, but crack nonetheless.

Even, my ***.

Xif, you're really the only good peach player I know who thinks fox is harder than marth. I know exarch is with me on this, I've seen cort say it repeatedly, vidjo and I agreed on it while playing friendlies at the GA tournament, I've heard xelic say it, etc, etc. You're the only respected peach player I've seen say otherwise (though everyone agrees that fox is really hard too, obviously).

It's about equally hard to get in on a camping fox as it is on a camping marth, albeit for different reasons (marth's moveset outranges and beats your moveset, you just can't catch fox). But when you do finally get in on fox you hurt him severely and/or kill him, whereas when you get in on marth you get 15-30% on him and have a hard time edgeguarding him unless he's bad. Sure, fox kills peach at lower percents than marth does, but there's not a huge difference between killing you off the top at 80% and just edgeguarding you till 2983749328% where any incidental hit kills.

I'm not going to argue that either matchup is fun by any stretch, but I maintain that fox is easier than marth (though not easy by any stretch of the imagination). Even when he runs away and shoots lasers all day.

marty and mike G agree with me.
