I just talked to Darklink and he said the current plan is Wobbles is driving. The other 3 spots in his car are myself, Darklink, and Darkshifter. A second car is a possibility, but nothing confirmed yet.

Well yea, but I've never been to a tournament large enough to need pools, so I don't understand how you seed it. I just was asking because I kinda don't want to be in the same pool as everybody else from NM, and ESPECIALLY not in the same pool as everyone else who's a beast, like Wobbles and Light. If they are even coming, I dunno. Anyway, I just thought it would be stupid if you put all the pros in one pool, and they all eliminated each other. But that's probably not how you seed it. Hmmm...maybe you should explain it a little to me, as I only vaguely understand how you do pools and more particularly seeding.

Also, I like the new schedule. The only thing I might have against it is that me and the twins won't be arriving until like 2:00 in the morning on Saturday, haha, so we won't get to do Melee crews, but that's alright. And we might be a little tired on Saturday.

Okay as far for crews, there is a schedule. But I mean you guys are more than welcomed to fit crews in through out the weekend. As long as it doesn't involve players who are supposed to be in tournament matches.

Pools get seeded first by skill. but i dunno the scene in elpaso (and its surrounding areas) for smash. so we'd have to nominate someone who is incredibly knowledgeable of both melee and brawl player - skillz. that person can help me run the tournament with all perks included (like venue fee waived and a hug from yours truly lol :D ).

then pools are seeded by location. cuz like you mentioned, you don't wanna be placed against too many you normally play with on the daily.

then after pools. the bracket is seeded, based on your performance in pools. players that get first in their pools usually get "byes". then it's seeded again by location (this usualy depends on the t.o, so it's NOT A MUST...but I do it :D ).

pending on the size of the final bracket, some players don't qualify for it. if they do bad in pools. i personally have no idea how many people are gonna come to this tournament. so i'm going to say right now, that melee and brawl will have pool qualifiers for a 24 man bracket. this is subject to change though. cuz i do want to be fair to everyone.

also: you should find out the top 2 in every state coming and give them their own pools so that seeding conflicts don't happen.

like if there's eight pools

7. Texas (Out of city texans who drive far or something) # 1
8. Tx number 2

This ensures no conflicts with skill or having to play your own state
