Melee tournament should be on Saturday, there are many students who have to go to school on Monday and will miss Sunday .. Think about it please

That way there will be no doubt that it'll end on a decent hour sunday

Get pools and doubles out of the way. No one playing melee will mind. Those doing both won't even mind. Just organise well.

Haha, even I approve of that vote. Or maybe even do doubles all on Saturday, and then on Sunday do the singles pools AND brackets. I dunno, but I kinda want to play everyone on Saturday before I enter the singles tournament myself. Either way works, as I'm sure I'll be playing Melee all day Sunday before the tournament starts anyway, haha. I wake up at 6:00 on Monday for school, but hey? to be honest, I have zero clue how big any of the events will be. this will be my first time in the area being a t.o for smash. but seeing how well this thread has been received by all of yous, i too believe this tournament is gonna be NICE!!!

So I hope you put a lil faith in your community and come to this event. It will be fun, that much I can guarantee.

Well yea, but I've never been to a tournament large enough to need pools, so I don't understand how you seed it. I just was asking because I kinda don't want to be in the same pool as everybody else from NM, and ESPECIALLY not in the same pool as everyone else who's a beast, like Wobbles and Light. If they are even coming, I dunno. Anyway, I just thought it would be stupid if you put all the pros in one pool, and they all eliminated each other. But that's probably not how you seed it. Hmmm...maybe you should explain it a little to me, as I only vaguely understand how you do pools and more particularly seeding.

Also, I like the new schedule. The only thing I might have against it is that me and the twins won't be arriving until like 2:00 in the morning on Saturday, haha, so we won't get to do Melee crews, but that's alright. And we might be a little tired on Saturday.

Of course, just be sure to bring blankets/sleepingbags/ inflatable beds because most of you would be getting the floor. Not most of you tuscon guys just mostly everyone so NM bring those things too.


And also el paso can pretty much only guarantee 2 wiis the other 2 people that could be counted on sold there wiis . Last tournament we only had mine and the store's which don't have characters unlocked so everyone needs to bring as many set ups as possible!

also: you should find out the top 2 in every state coming and give them their own pools so that seeding conflicts don't happen.

like if there's eight pools

1. Arizona's best
2. Arizona's #2
3. New Mexico's #1
4. -- --
5. El Paso's # 1
6. -- --
7. Texas (Out of city texans who drive far or something) # 1
8. Tx number 2

This ensures no conflicts with skill or having to play your own state
