Go to battlefield lol. CPs just make the match-up more of a hassle by there being more **** for olimar to run under/hide behind

Yeah, BF/SV are like the "less bad" of the CP options.
FD would be Pikmin target shooting, and Olimar addapts well to pretty much everything else but Orpheon phase 1 (but he's beast on Orpheon 2).

Also, ban Halberd.
Is very unlekely to see a japanese taking you anywhere non-static, but that's just in case.
If you feel like, ban FD.

dat low ceiling, tho.

And Siege 2 is not that bad, flags are very strong camp spots.
I'd hate part 3 much more against Olimar.

just don't get hit by the upsmash.

have lead > avoid usmash/purple grab/blue grab > chip at stock

I wouldn't Lylat against Olimar because the height of the side platforms make it perfect for him turtling on either side, and I just hate Lylat lol

I wouldn't pick Lylat because iirc, there are more chances of plugging purple pikmins, and tilting can screw Marth's recovery (unless you already learned its pattern).
Is not a bad choice, is just not the best.

Don't take Olimar to: CS, PS1, Lylat (dear god don't do this), or Haberd.

CP: BF/SV

There isn't really a next best choice after those. Personal preference at that point imo.

is not bad.
It doesn't give any advantage or disadvantage other than Pikmin camping and certain diagonal grabs being boosted.

I love Lylat, so personal preference for me. Also the tilts are hardly anything to worry about, people who fail to recover on Lylat suck at this game, lol.

Lylats a big hit/miss against olimar.
The platforms are set up so that we have another approach option.
From a platform, fast fall fair -> upb on oli's shield is rather nice (bar if he pivot grabbed instead).
Ramin was doing this a little against Neitono.

The main thing that ***** us on Lylat is when we're on the ledge with RCO. It heavily favors Oli, more so than on other stages.
We also have less landing options when we're juggled.

Marth hates yellows because they extend Olimar's vertical aerial range (*more trouble for when he's below us)
Yes they're the ones Marth hates. More purples/yellows = Getting electric juggled in the air/dying to u-smash at 90+ (purple) & low 100s (yellow) 110 if you're in the air and they tag you. And by in the air I mean the U-smash hitbox that still hits Marth in a full-jump (hitbox extends about up to the top of his boots) and kills him at 110%. Also Ramin's Snake is tighter than his Marth LOL
