Fear, if I say something about brawl, and you have no idea about it, just presume you're ignorant, because I'm generally right <3.
Brawl has a functional z axis that is not under the players control directly in any way shape or form; however every move in the game not only hits in the z axis (3D graphics) but contains HITBOXES in the z axis; characters fox trots, spot dodges, etc etc contain hurtboxes in the z-axis that sometimes do not exist in the 'normal plane'.

In other words, a perfect frame spotdodge from wario over and over will not be able to be hit with several moves in his cooldown time (2 frames only...)

I have no idea what you're talking about with the wario thing. Care to explain in more detail?

pretend barlw is a 3d fighter (like with 3d movement and ****)

Wario's spotdodge moves him to the left, there's winddown tho.

You use Dancing Blade which only hits straight forward.

You use DB toward him, but because he moved left, he moves out of the way of your attack.

Is basically what he's trying to say. Smash hitboxes exist in 3 dimensions and have been so since Melee's time.

It actually took me a while to figure out the proper structuring of my sentence. I am implying that Meta Knight's gaiety cannot be compared to Ice Climbers', not the other way around.

Dedede doesn't do too badly against ICs, very stage specific though...

The fact he has moves that outrange ICs + deflect ice blocks + quick fthrows/bthrows for seperation gives him a lot of good stuff...

Just... if you're in the air... and have ****ed up your spacing so you aren't at near max range of your aerials, or don't have a platform to jump onto, bad aerial mobility gives them a stock.
