On paper, Brinstar looks like it could be a good cp against D3. The low ceiling allows you to kill him a bit earlier and the lava could save you from potential gimps.

Brinstar sounds pretty good actually. I can't see a chain grab going on for very long on any surface there, right?

i take lucario to bf if i can, usually most of them are very predictable with the aura sphere, or rollcario, and don't take platforms well. but that's just me

Vs DeDeDe I cp Halberd cus I suck on Brinstar. I still think Brinstar>Halberd against him.

Vs Lucario, I want to know too =@
Lylat used to work for me, but I didn't fight any lucario for months...

On the ship, Halberd is huge, and he can chaingrab you all the way across the stage. So get ready to eat 30-40% maybe more, depending on where the D3 started the CG.
no, d3 can't cg luigi, but there is the edge of the ship or something where it counts as a wall and, and he can hit you through the stage.

I played Bloodhawk's Lucario recently and lost on Brinstar (for whatever that's worth :/ ).

They've got pretty hardcore lock-down in the air. The only one I found relatively reliable was our Bair.

It's the general consensus among Lucario players to not use double team so:
1. If they do, it has to be timed really well, you pretty much have to be extremely predictable or they'll just be purely lucky. Not to mention how it isn;t even gauranteed to hit since you can put up a shield.
2. just don't worry about falling into it, one less factor to consider.

A fully charged Aura Sphere has noticably more priority than baby aura spheres, despite the Lucario's Aura effect.

While I may not have the best idea as to how to kill, it should be said that knowing the percentages he can die at are extremely important (I mean like, especially for Lucario, since that should be a general tip for anyone) so you can focus on getting him out of there before he can wreck ****. Don't forget that the Aura effect also applies with the number of stocks they are up or down by.

Hope this helps and isn't already kinda self-evident :p

D3 can cg luigi, he just needs to buffer a shiled grab after dashing, as it gives him a slightly larger range for grabbing.

The timing is really strict though.

Yeah it is possible its just hard to do without practice. If the D3 has not practiced the timing for it then he will most likely not be able to do it. But good D3's will have it down.

I'm still not too sure about D3s cg being viable even with practice. IIRC, they only have like 1 frame to grab Luigi with before he just slides away.

The tournaments I attend don't ban it, too. However, the DDD players which I play against do it. Not only on tournaments, but also on meetings. :(

my crew's DDD is able to chain grab Luigi and his tech skill is like... Near casual.
It's not that hard.

Infinites are banned in France too.

The fact that Luigi can get easily Shield Grabbed by Dedede doesn't help when the infinite is allowed either.

I usually don't have trouble with the infinite, but D3'S grab range and throws alone give me enough problems.

i'll Just Say Right Off The Bat That I Lose To Falcos Sometimes, But I'll Try To Help Anyway.
If All He's Doing Is Running Around And Shielding At The Beginning Of The Stock Looking For The Grab, Then If You Feel Confident That You Will Land The Grab When You Try It And He's Not Spot Dodging Too Much, Do It. Then If He's In Said Mindset, He Will Almost Surely Air Dodge After You Dthrow, So You Can Get Another Grab. Then You Can Do W/e Mixups And Stuff.

If You're Not Confident You Can Get The Grab And He's Spotdodging Too Much, Utilts Are Your Friend. Usually After He Gets That Chaingrab To Spike, He Changes, So Read His Playstyle.

If He's Zooming Back And Forth And Lasering, Crawl, Nado, And Roll Utilt. If He's Basing The Playstyle On Random Air Moves, You Can Shield Or Spotdodge And Just Trade Some Random Hits (or Maybe Something Else Since I'm Not Good Against This Playstyle).

As For The Kill Game, You Can Always Spot Dodge Him When He Runs Up For An Upsmash And Upb Him. As For The Fsmash, Just Be Patient And Don't Always Try To Punish It.

To Punish The Phantasm, The Green Missile Always Hits Him Out Of It As Long As He's Not Above You. The Nair Is Good Too, As Long As You're A Bit Above Him And He Can't Hit Your Upper Body.

Get Some Other Input On This Because I'm Not Particularly Good At This Mu.

Whats up Luigi mainers can i get some advice how is falco vs Luigi any good??? let me kno
I think falco is like, really hard. The main thing about falco that corrupts Luigi's game play is that he rivals Luigi in the air, and straight up beats him on the ground. A good bit of Luigi's game revolves around him getting a jab to (insert either grab, d smash, up b. You get the drift) then following up with reads in the air.

Falco can shut this down easily because first off, he is quite unpredictable in the air. It's hard to bait and punish falco when he can phantasm away safely.

2nd, falco's jab is absolutely absurd. He can jab Luigi out of anything that he does except for a full 3 hit jab combo. Lasers can be a hassle as well, but I think the main thing that shuts down Luigi in this match-up is falco's jab and its quick startup and safe end.

Luigi is typically able to crawl under Falco's SH lasers (unless they manage to silent laser)
