My biggest disappointment with the Sonic Symphony is that they didn't include anything from Schoolhouse. I'm not memeing. Imagine this song being played by a live orchestra, it'd be beautiful.

People joke about Smash Sonic being a "simple one-button character" but that was literally the intent.
Even as someone who aligns as a rather extreme AuthLeft and opposes the concept of "free speech" in relation to hatred, I find the idea of killing, jailing, or assaulting people for being racist/homophobic/otherwise prejudiced utterly repugnant (though fining is OK I feel). Like, isn't starting wars over differing opinions and political systems the exact thing we as the left are criticising America for?
That being said, I do like the more passive/nonviolent reactions - those clown troupes that chase after white supremacist rallies are utter legends.

Is he jealous of Tails' IQ? Is he still angry after Tails ran into spikes when he was playing the Sonic 2 special stage? Does he mistake the kit's optimism and pluck for smug and snark? I don't know.
I think Crash is the one potential Mii costume people would be more disappointed in if it WERE a "deluxe."

I once saw a Scrimblo Bimblo copypasta that used the Commodore 64 as a "wacky irrelevant system!" example - but like, why ISN'T there microcomputer rep in Smash? If you're to make a "celebration of gaming history" there's no good reason to forget the micros.
If there was a game that was, like I dunno, sent back in time and successfully prevented WW2, but it was PlayStation exclusive Smash fans would still call it unimportant.

Ness growing up to become Mario (and on the same note, Paula growing up to become Peach) is 100% an absurd headcanon, but it kinda works and fits well enough if you can suspend your disbelief a little - there's certainly a bit of resemblance if you look beyond the differing art styles. At the very least it's not fundamentally centered around the idea of bones not being organic matter.
Sans literally commits perfidy (which is against the Geneva Convention) in his monologue before the final battle of Undertale's genocide route, and exlaims "get dunked on!" after killing a child. Even if they're a child that also takes pleasure in murder, that still inherently makes Sans a psychopath.

My stance on the "are there good 3D Sonic games?" debate:
There are good 3D games that feature Sonic
There are good 3D games that play like Sonic
But there's yet to be a good 3D Sonic game - in the sense of a game that features Sonic and plays like Sonic.
If stage song playlists were in SSBU I'd set exclusively Mario music to play on Castle Siege and pretend it's Bowser's Castle.
