The upcoming Battletoads actually looks really good - I think people only dislike it because of the Rise of the TMNT-esqe redesigns.

It's always confused me how some websites (specifically Cracked) will promote themselves as "the funniest website on the internet!" or even "the only funny website on the internet!" then have articles called things like "Top 10 Remnants of Ancient Civilisations in 3rd World Countries"

My favourite crossovers are the ones where they necromance some old character nobody cares about or ever has cared about for a cameo. It's nice to see that Mort the Chicken is still out there, albeit teaming up with a psychotic pizza chef instead of fighting geometric aliens - that's way more interesting than the Shovel Knight cinematic universe.

Someone should make a really convincing Smash leak for a character nobody wants so when the leak is deconfirmed people are glad. Make it, I dunno, Bubsy, an FE character, something like that.

I am extremely opposed to a themed Fighters' Pass, all it would do is limit potential characters.
I used to be an avid fan of AnimationRewind, and watching his new videos - apart from the memes there's a clear improvement in consistency, both on CFC and RR. That being said, I prefer reading debate threads for my Vs. Battle fix, brings more opinions to the table.
Every long-running game series is gonna have bad games eventually - yes, even Kirby. One of Kirby's first games ever was actually pretty rubbish - Kirby's Pinball Land: a really poor and frustrating (in the bad way) pinball game. A shame too, it came out after HAL's absolutely brilliant Revenge of the 'Gator so you'd think they would've remembered how to make a good tilt-less pinball game.

April fools aside, I never really got the "dumb"/"meme" reputation Crash gets in the context of Smash - maybe it's just that I come from the UK where Crash is a super-popular character, but to me he's as viable a gaming star as Mario or Sonic - he's a pretty goofy character and quite clearly a Western creation, but that also applies to Banjo in a lot of ways.
There's running out of ideas, and then there's "Purple characters vs. indie horror characters".
I love seeing all the Crash profile pictures next to comments about hating Crash.
Just so you know, on April Fools' Day you can pretty much vandalise SSBWiki to death as long as you try to put it back to normal at the end of the day.

I doubt the ARMS character will get a proper trailer. The only DLCs to get original animation for their trailers were Banjo, Hero and Joker - the first two were introduced at E3 (big budget) and Sakurai has stated the latter's owners volunteered to animate a trailer.

It's always annoyed me how Mushroom Kingdom 2 uses the SNES graphics - I'm guessing it was to promote Super Mario Advance.
