To me, the problem with Sonic in 3D is that I feel Sonic is too fast for the third dimension - in fact I'd dare say Lost World had the right idea with the run button - momentum doesn't really work for a super-fast 3D platformer like it would for a super-fast 2D platformer or middling-speed 3D platformer.
It's a shame that handheld ports (well, I say ports but I more mean unrelated games with the same name) have been a dead art since the 3DS came out - some of them were actually better than their console counterparts, especially in the world of licensed games.

The worst fan argument in Smash is "they only do X!" - like "Bomberman only throws bombs!" - the best Smash movesets tend to be the ones made with nothing as a base - ICs, Pac-Man, Marth, e.t.c.

My favourite crossovers are the ones where they necromance some old character nobody cares about or ever has cared about for a cameo. It's nice to see that Mort the Chicken is still out there, albeit teaming up with a psychotic pizza chef instead of fighting geometric aliens - that's way more interesting than the Shovel Knight cinematic universe.
