The assassins creed series is interesting because it's a case of corporate meddling and lack of focused storytelling ruining the original creator's vision, and making for a series that has good ideas but is very flawed. But also the original creator's vision seems like it would have been just as flawed as the series we actually got.

It’s kinda weird how heavily the Tokyo scenes were pushed as part of Sonic 3 given it happens in like the first 20 minutes of the movie. They were a big part of the trailers, it was made into a level, and the movie was literally renamed in Japan to reference it

I had a dream I met someone who had a minor role in the first Hunger Games movie (a movie I never watched) so I watched it. It was set in a normal modern high school for some reason and Jordan Peele played a character. Later (outside of the movie) someone was complaining about Squeaky Clean Sprint from Mario Kart 8 and they seemed deeply apologetic when I told them “I think it’s cool because Mario is a plumber”

I don’t like it when people boil down the appeal of Dynasty Warriors type games to “people like them because it’s satisfying to hit lots of enemies”.

They’re not the deepest games in the world but I like the strategy elements where you have to prioritize what missions to do and places to capture. The games can eventually get pretty stressful when there’s a lot happening at once too
