I had a dream I met someone who had a minor role in the first Hunger Games movie (a movie I never watched) so I watched it. It was set in a normal modern high school for some reason and Jordan Peele played a character. Later (outside of the movie) someone was complaining about Squeaky Clean Sprint from Mario Kart 8 and they seemed deeply apologetic when I told them “I think it’s cool because Mario is a plumber”

I recently reached the world of ruin in final fantasy 6 and this is how I’d rank the 2D final fantasy games since I’ve almost beaten them all now:

I feel like the seven deadly sins as a concept are a bit unnecessary when you already established the law with the ten commandments. Could have maybe done some worldbuilding streamlining there.

They’re not all that common but I like the moments in one piece where real life facts about pirate life or science in general gets brought up because it’s relevant to the plot. Hell yeah I’d love to learn about decompression sickness or the keel of a boat in an action shonen manga
I like that the like a dragon gaiden games keep the beat em up style alive while the main series have turn based gameplay, but also it would be fun to have a turn based spin off game in the series
I watched the 1986 transformers movie today and the dare to be stupid scene was unironically the best part of the film

I don’t like it when people boil down the appeal of Dynasty Warriors type games to “people like them because it’s satisfying to hit lots of enemies”.
They’re not the deepest games in the world but I like the strategy elements where you have to prioritize what missions to do and places to capture. The games can eventually get pretty stressful when there’s a lot happening at once too
The new yakuza game is just about using a VPN to change your location to Hawaii and then downloading an illegal copy of yakuza (2005) i didnt realize "pirate yakuza in hawaii" was a command and not a noun

It’s really funny to me that there was a one piece fighting game with Kuina as a playable character. That feels like adding batmans parents as playable characters in injustice.
I really think they missed out on the opportunity to market sand land better when it was being released on Disney+. It’s would have been pretty niche in the west anyways, but I’d bet they could get some general audiences to watch it if they played into the aspects of the story that make it look more “Pixar-like”
or if they marketed it like at all tbh

One of my most prized video game related possessions is probably a copy of strider on genesis. It’s the oldest game I have and Flash Gordon rip off strider hiryu is too glorious
Fun fact: the protagonist of the new Onimusha game technically debuted in the platform fighter spin off of Onimusha 20 years ago and that was the only game they were in this is really funny to me for some reason

The like a dragon kenzan and ishin games and the sonic storybook games technically have the same concept.
Therefore there should be a yakuza themed sonic storybook game
