Got the Sans Nendoroid today. Overall very cool, but I am a little bugged that it came with two of the glowing blue eyes and no blank eyes - Sans doesn't have both his pupils and glowing eye at any point, so having one glowing eye and one blank eye woulda made more sense.

Say hello to the most screwed-over guest character in the history of the medium.
If everything had gone as planned for Mega Man in the early 2010's, Bad Box Art Mega Man would have been seen as a fun novelty during a good period for the Blue Bomber. Since everything got canceled, though, having one of his few pre-Sm4sh appearances be a mockery of the character could easily be seen in poor taste for fans.
A victim of circumstance, really.

A roster for Marvel vs Capcom that's as cynical as possible. I took the top 30 best selling Capcom games and Marvel movies, and took a character who appears from one of them. I think the Marvel side isn't too bad but god the Capcom one gets weird. IDK which Capcom franchise is the Fire...

Finally finishing up my massive two-part roster for Here's the Keys. I think this is the first time I've had to take a break from editing the roster image specifically because my arm was starting to hurt.
Might finally buy the Peppino plush soon as a birthday treat for myself.
While I've grown fonder of Wario's current Up Special (and regret thinking Spring Wario was much better), I think I'd accept a jetpack as a substitute. I dunno, it just feels fitting.
First we learned of Wario's golf pack jetpack in Super Rush and now he has another jetpack in WarioWare Get it Together.

In a vacuum, I don't hate the idea of a "walking jab" (where in jab and ftilt are the same move); It's just that the three examples we have in Smash right now (Mega Man, Steve, and Min Min) do it in a pretty bad way. Mega Man and Steve's let them do boring single-move combo strings (with weirdly high priority on Mega Man's lemons, to boot), and Min Min's.... Well, Min Min.

A part of me wants to do a list of movesets for a Smash "reboot" - As in, a totally new game where every veteran gets reworked to various extents with no obligation to hold itself to the standards of past games. Not because I think it's the direction the series SHOULD go in, mind you - I've said a few times that overhauling characters entirely in the course of one game would be super alienating - but for fun and thought experimentation primarily.
Would folks around here be willing to see something like that? Again, I probably wouldn't want this in a standard Smash follow-up, and it's mainly a thought experiment (though I also won't be giving every character DLC-tier gimmicks either, heh).
Thinking about it, Ganondorf mainly staying as a Captain Falcon clone also kinda makes sense if you look at him from a character/dev time standpoint. His primary weapon isn't consistent between most of his appearances, which is a problem Link and Zelda don't have;
- Trident in NES/SNES games as Ganon
- Dual swords in OoT as Ganon
- Dual katanas in Wind Waker
- Single sword in TwiPri
- Dual wields in Hyrule Warriors (among using other weapons)
- Wields all kinda stuff in BoTW/ToTK
Fun fact: NASB2 is namedropped on the Smash wiki, with a port of Sweet Dream for Ultimate being shown in the game mods page.

Random thought; If Marth and Roy were excluded from Western versions of Melee as originally planned, would they be banned from tournaments since not all players would be able to lab them out?
Played Smash Crusade for the first time in a hot while, and I think I finally get the appeal of a Crash Final Smash where you just run around with Aku Aku on your face.
(also gonna mod my copy at some point probably - i usually just settle for cmc+ but i'd rather have a more curated selection of characters/stages i'm interested in, even if it'll take a lot longer to get the roster to the point i want)
lesson learned: if i just don't care about a nintendo direct all the games i'd be interested in will appear (within reason)
