Finally watched Batman Mask of the Phantasm and man that one joker on the phone meme really doesn’t convey what the actual joke of the scene was. I don’t know why this is my main takeaway.

The idea of a platform fighter having multiple levels of super is probably the most interesting design choice of PlayStation all stars battle royale except the reason they emphasized super meter so much was in service of a really awful game mechanic

I really want to make a video about video games based on live action anime adaptations because it’s such an incredibly specific topic that touches both on ****ty shovelware of the Wii era and ****ty movies of the same era. People will often try to counter the idea that all art is political with “so you think [insert preschool age media here] is about politics???” and it’s funny to me because kids shows are probably the easiest thing to point to when explaining how media can have unintended (or at least not emphasized) political messages. -
