People will often try to counter the idea that all art is political with “so you think [insert preschool age media here] is about politics???” and it’s funny to me because kids shows are probably the easiest thing to point to when explaining how media can have unintended (or at least not emphasized) political messages.

I found out what scratchin melodii is and started watching some YouTube videos on the songs. It is kind of annoying that the majority of comments on them are just complaining about the “newer” versions of the songs (which is just slight changes to how their vocals sound) or others complaining about those people.

I have confidence in the live action one piece’s future but I really think it would have been much better if they added one to three episodes per season so that they could do one saga per season. Season 1 not ending with the strawhats right about to enter the grand line just feels really weird.
Why do the “you spoony bard” memes from final fantasy 4 always imply the line is some sort of mistranslation or failure of localization? It’s a fantasy game so they use an antiquated word and it fits perfectly in the game. People genuinely think it’s a mistake -
